U're assuming that nedved will not continue with juve next season but what if he stayed (and there is a big chance that he will stay as our managers want him and so our players), in this case we'll have nedved for next season and our board r allready thinking of nedved's replacement so they're most likely gonna get another winger
Actually I forgot to add something. Even If Nedved and Giovinco stay in juve, we would still need another winger. Marchionni will likely be sold (thankfully) and Sali is just not good enough to be a starter(and you can argue the same for Nedved). more the reason to Keep Giovinco. So even if we buy someone like Mancini, it would just be to add needed depth to our squad.

I don't think that Giovinco is going anywhere, but let's not take chances. This is a message I got from The Giovinco Facebook group:

It is looking likely that our board may sell Giovinco or include him in some form of a deal with Palermo to bring Amauri to Juve.

Giovinco, being the most promising youngster in Italy this deal would be detrimental to the future of Juventus. Please follow these instructions (taken from Juventuz.com) and let your voice be heard.

ENOUGH! The managers need to know that they won’t have our money to spend this year if they let Giovinco go. Copy this message:

“SE CEDETE SEBASTIAN GIOVINCO VI POTETE SCORDARE I NOSTRI ABBONAMENTI E APPOGGI FINANZIARI SIA NELLO STADIO CHE FUORI!

GIOVINCO NON SI TOCCA!”

Translation: If you let Giovinco go you can forget about our memberships or financial support be it inside or outside the stadium.

HANDS OFF GIOVINCO”

Have anyone notice how low we have reached with this board?

We as Juve fans are not expecting smart deals from such board and I'm not even talking about a Cannavaro-Carini kind of deals, we are only praying now that our board won't do somthing extremly stupid like giving away one of Giovinco, Lanza, Marchisio, De... in a better world we don't have to worry about such thing as we have better things to worry about like quality in deffence, better LB alternatives, a reliable CM duo and squad depth to play CL.

So guys, with such board we have to forget about the Zapats and Hamsiks of this world and pray the board will only do stupid moves (Amauri for Nocerion + Lanza + $$) not extremly stupid moves (Amauri for Giovinco + Buffon + Camo + the black stripes on our shirt + $$).

I've been supporting juve for about 15 years and i must say that it is depressing the way the club is run now :sigh: , i always had faith in juve and i hope that this nightmare will end if not now then in the near future hopefully :xfinger:

I think you guys are overreacting, nothing ihas been decided
why are you all so worked up
Giovinco is a future star but he is not there yet
Palla also is a talent and he might be lost for Juve because he hardly ever got his chance
let's assume a couple of things:
- Nedved signs a new deal
- we sign Amauri without including Giovinco
- we swap Iaquinta for Mancini

where is Giovinco going to play? now he might play once in a while but I'm talking about a long tun, that is what he needs to grow as a player - not in height-
at the flanks he has to deal with Nedved, Mancini and Camo
up front he has competition of the best strikers in Italy and Amauri
central midfield? Sissoko, Zanetti, Marchisio, Tiago, Nocerino
and besides I doubt Ranieri will ever play with Giovinco as a playmaker in the center and flanks like Mancini and Camo
I know it is not popular but it might be in his best interest to go out on loan
I know there is a lot of speculation here but at the moment that is all we can do
before you commit mass- suicide try to be calm and analise what looks to be going on

Giovinco will out compete Nedved, and I respect our legend, but I would be quite dissapointed if Giovinco isnt able to outcompete Nedved. We havent signed Mancini and its just small possibility we will. But Having him is quite useful too, because beside LW, he can cover our much needed RW position too when Camo is injured.

Man i totally disagree with u, next season should be gio's season, if nedved stayed for one more year then he'll most likely gonna play less than 40% of juve's games next season (he's getting old and it shows) he'll be more vital for us in the CL games, Giovinco will be used more in the league games.

U're saying that gio is a future star but he's not there yet i totally disagree with u on this part too. Am not the kind of people who get hyped up by any talent (thats why i never thought that paladino is huge talent, though he's a pretty decent player and he showed he's class in italy vs potugal game) yet giovinco is showing over and over (even against top teams in the league) that he's a pretty huge talent. He'll be 22 next season so he's not all that young u know.

If the player is ready then why wait till he's 25 or 27 its just doesn't make sence. Del piero was a great talent and he was part of the team when he was just 19. I've watched all of empoli's games this season and i can say that giovinco is bitter than half of our current players. Loaning him out IMO is just a dump move nothing more, bring him back and let him find a place in the team or loan him out and u might never see him again in this club......

are u sure he is ready?
he played really well for Empoli this season, I agree but so did Almiron a couple of seasons in a row
he excelled at international, he played against men or should I say boys of he own age- last year everybody here wanted Drenthe after the youth tournament
he didn't have a regular place at Feyenoord but excelled internationally with Holland, Real paid a shitload for him and where is he now?
and Feyenoord is better then Empoli
I do agree that Giovinco has a lot of talent but you guys think he is the new Del Piero well he isn't at least not yet
and he won't get any better sitting on our bench

There's only one way to find out and that is to play him. When Juve bought Del Piero he had Baggio, Ravinelli and Vialli ahead of him and when Del Piero got his chance he did enough to send Baggio packing. I rather he get the chance at Juve to prove himself then at some other team on a co owned deal and then Juve has to buy him back.

So u think the bitter move is to loan him to other teams for the rest of his life!! I allready said del piero played in this club when he was just 19, giovinco is 21 now he'll be 22 next season loaning him out will not benefit him in anyway. He'll be loaned to mid-table club (palermo) who r not playing in europe next year and even if they did play in europe (uefa cup teams r no bitter than serie A teams) so what experience will he get? IMO absalutely nothing...

Trigger, I will be happy to see Giovinco coming here and proving you right. If he isnt ready after all he has shown, then no one can truly be ready enough to get a chance. He has since day one proved himself, the first time he was subbed in Serie B and he IMMEDIATELY showed his worth by giving a great assist to Trez, owning so insanely much in Azzurrini (like no one else) and taking immediate responsibility with Empoli and behind everything they do.

What more does he has to do? No one is saying he will immediately be a saviour, but he has shown enough that he is a huge talent that needs to play ASAP. You are questionning if he at 22 should get a chance, when IMO I dissapprove of Italy's policy of holding back talents so long for little reason. Pirlo was shunned forever until he was 22-23, any other nation and they would have gotten a shot at much earlier stage.

I'm not saying any of that, like I said before I'm merely trying to figure out the reasoning behind this and I guess if this all works out like I said our board doesn't want to risk burn him like they did with Palla. he is now miserable because of his lack of playing time. Right or wrong who are we to say
I would prefer him at Juve as well but I can accept a loan if there is an alternative available like a Mancini, Nedved or Hamsik
otherwise I say like all of you hell no but no player will improve by sitting on the bench
I want the best Juve possible and I'm sure the board wants that too wether with Giovinco or not will be besides the point if we win the scudetto in a years' time

According To Goal.com

Juve Fans Revolt Over Proposed Giovinco Sale:

Juventus supporters have reacted angrily to reports that the club are preparing to sell 50 per cent of Sebastian Giovinco to Palermo.

Giovinco is widely regarded as one of the most explosive young players currently in circulation, and earlier this week Milan wonderkid Alexandre Pato named the 21-year-old as one of the top four youngsters in world football.

Despite this, reports have been strengthening in Italy over the past few days that Juventus are set to sell half of Giovinco’s contract to Palermo, as part of the deal that will see Amauri arrive in Turin.

This has infuriated Juventus supporters across the globe, who have flooded various websites almost unanimously to vent their spleen.

A poll on the site VecchiaSignora.com revealed that 90.5 per cent of fans were completely against even a loan deal, while just a meagre 1.5 per cent approved of a co-ownership deal.

Juventus fans have been heavily opposed to the club’s director of sport Alessio Secco for quite sometime now, following a string of blunders in the transfer market.

Any decision to release Giovinco to Palermo in a co-ownership deal could push their patience to boiling point.

Add another one to that pole. Gio is our future he better be coming back Secco. I keep asking myself is Secco actually trying to destroy Juve it seems like it.

The funny thing Secco and the board obviously dont know anything about finance cos if we sell half of Gio's contract, he will cost us a fortune to buy it back in the future possible even 10 mil pounds id Gio comes on the way he has.

So that we mean we loose:

Gio - 10mil pounds
Nocinero - probably worth 6-7 mil pounds
Deceglie - 6-7 mi pounds
and cash if Palermo get their way we will be paying 22 mil pounds in players + cash maby 6-7 mil pounds thats 29 mil pounds for a 28 y.o.

Secco if this happens your a JOKE!!!!
