the kids is small in height but a giant on the field, he has a quick mind that match his quick feet, he is a great passer of the ball as well as a great dribbler. he has great placement. he is a great player already, and will only get better.
To say the truth, i don't c him as a great dribbler. He uses he's size and speed to run past players (in a way, he reminds me of owen when he was young). He's vision is really amazing and passing is really great. I watched almost all of empoli's games this season and i think he needs to develop more his skills (dribbling abilities) to be more complete IMO........

I agree that he needs to develop somethings, but he can develop here with us in Juventus:juvefan2:

If he needs to develop something, its not his dribbling at all, which is hardly only about speed.

He needs to develop his shooting more. Or actually just shoot more. He is unselfish playmaker, and primarly serves others, but he should take more initiative on his own at times. He passes bit too much, instead of take more shoots or dribble to get himself to more dangerous position.

I completely agree. The talent and ability is there, but if he wants to make more of a name for himself - the way to go is to be a little more selfish and to score goals ala Baggio ;). He can obviously do it :, he just has to go for it a little more. Although Giovinco has stated before that he sees himself as more of a midfielder than a striker.

Guys there is an intreview on "sports week" with giovinco were he said this...."i feel ready for a big club experience and in june am going back to juve, i needed to play in a small team this season and i did just that. But now i can't wait any longer and if juve don't think am good enough i will go to another club. If a player is ready, then his age shouldn't be a problem"........

don't expect him to be the savior of Juve he may very well have a season like Palladino is having right now
it is a big step, he has potential but he needs to show it at the highest level
if we at least give him the chance

I don't think Gio will be like Palladino at all. Imo he will have an immediate impact on our build up and creative play. Palladino is not as half as good as Giovinco.

Man i really hope u're right. The problem is, ranieri wants all the players to defend (even forwards) and giovinco is not so great in that. I noticed also that ranieri likes the players to work hard for 90 minutes (even if they're not performing well ex. "molinaro, necerino") thats the type of players that he wants. Giovinco like to play in a free role, where he can do his thing and i don't think that ranieri will appreciate that.......

I've been a supporter of Giovinco for a while now and I got slammed for this a while ago when i said that he should play a fundamental role for us next year, meaning that he should get first crack at the creative midfield position we so long for.. It seems anything else and Seba himself will be asking around for another team and what scares me the most about Secco is that he will fuck it up with Seba

he's to be in black and white next season, rite?
Yes he is going to be re-calld from loan...and then Ruineri is going to play him- i don't know- like LW in Nedved position or SS...He is bourn trequartista and he must have the freedom to create...
But like we said, Ruineri is prefering players like Sissoko, Nocerino...and dislikes players like Diego and VdV...
So i'm scared for Seba...
I'll play like this next year to accommodate Seba:

Buy:
Hamšik
De Slivestri

Bring back:
Seba
Marchisio
De Ceglie
Cristico

Buffon

Zebina - Melberg - Chiellini - De Ceglie

Camo - Zanetti - Hamšik

Giovinco

Trezegol - Del Piero

Bilardi

De Silvestri - Legro - Cristico - Grygera

Marchisio - Sissoko

Marchionni - Palladino - Nedved

Giuseppe Giovinco Supporting Empoli

Giuseppe Giovinco, younger brother of Empoli star Sebastian, says that he will be supporting his sibling this evening.

Sebastian Giovinco is widely regarded as one of the most promising young players in Italian football currently.

Tonight the 21-year-old trequartista will be playing for Empoli at the Stadio Castellani against his parent club Juventus.

What few people know is that Giovinco actually has a younger brother, Giuseppe, who is 17-years-old and is also owned by the Bianconeri.

Giuseppe plays for the Juventus Berretti squad, which consists of players under the age of 19.

"Tonight I will be supporting Empoli,” said Giuseppe. “Family comes before Juve.

”We are always compared. We play the same role, but we have different characteristics. I am more physical for example.”

One thing the brothers do appear to share in common is that they are both short, although Giuseppe says he has a slight height advantage.

"I am couple of centimetres taller,” he concluded.
