Should we get Giovinco back or buy Miccoli? I can't decide on this.

Many say how great Seba did with his stats and all. How he did it in a small team so one can only imagine how great he'd do for a strong team. But Miccoli also did great with a small team. He scored more than Seba and he assisted more (Seba has 15+10 while Miccoli has 16+12). On top of it, I think Miccoli will be cheaper. If Miccoli did so well with a small team, can you guys imagine how great he'll do for a big team like Juve?

Food for thought.

Gio is growing, and young enough to do even better next year. Miccoli is maxed out.

Don't be a stinker. :p

When he was Seba's age, Miccoli was doing the same Seba is doing now, and it happened in a much stronger serie A.

My opinion is that both are extremely talented players but none can succeed to perform at the same level for a big team. Both were in Juve and neither was given enough chances while in Turin. I can only hope to be wrong about Giovinco, but I strongly believe that his place is in the 2nd echelon of the serie A teams and won't really improve a big team.
I'd obviously much rather have him than Giac, for example, but I wouldn't really waste much time and resources to bring him back.

Well, until we bring him back and give him an honest shoot for once we will never know. It will always just be speculation.

Gio has talent and with our new possession based tactics I think he would flourish. Give him a top class striker to provide for and watch what happens.

I don't get the comparison to Miccoli. Is it because both of them are short? Do we compare every player who does not play for one of the big 3 with Miccoli if they have a good season? Jovetic? Sanchez with Udinese? Pastore with Palermo? All potential Miccoli's?

I'd say the Miccoli comparison is far better than yours, both in terms of position and relevance.
