Who cares what Giovinco says? Is he good enough for us? For sure, despite what the fickle-natured say, who let their judgement get clouded by what Giovinco says.

Pepe: 10.1m
Giaccherini: 3m + loan of another blow out Martinez
Martinez: 12m
Esti: 500k loan possibly 5m
Diego: 24m
Elia: 9m

58.5m (possibly 63.5m if we buy Esti).

Add to that wages we have spent probably close to 80m on players, add to that the wastes of Amauri, IQ and Toni...

I know some of these players are "wingers", but in a 433 they play in the top 3 and Gio can add just as much (guaranteed) if not more than any of these guys, but we will end up buying our own player back and in hindsight looking at how much we spent is just :sergio:

I remember a statistic where he had most assists per minutes played one of those seasons. Only Xavi equal or better in that respect.
Zanetti > Giovinco > Xavi

He is the best assist man in Europe for the minutes played

1) Sebastian Giovinco (Juventus) 1102 minuti giocati 7 assists - 1 assist ogni 157 minuti
2) Xavi (Barcelona) 6247 minuti giocati 33 assists - 1 assist ogni 189 minuti
3) Cesc Fábregas (Arsenal) 4016 minuti giocati 19 assists - 1 assist ogni 211 minuti
4) Michele Fini (Cagliari) 2770 minuti giocati 13 assists - 1 assist ogni 213 minuti
5) Mata (Valencia) 2944 minuti giocati 13 assists - 1 assist ogni 226 minuti
6) Andrei Arshavin (Arsenal) 3606 minuti giocati 14 assists - 1 assist ogni 258 minuti
7) David Beckham (AC Milan) 1643 minuti giocati 6 assists - 1 assist ogni 274 minuti
8) Andrés Iniesta (Barcelona) 4894 minuti giocati 15 assists - 1 assist ogni 326 minuti

Yes, 08/09. And Ranieri can kiss my ass. Whenever Giovinco had a great game he used to bench him the game after. And we only played him those few minutes. Now imagine if we actually nurtured his talent, gave him the chance to grow and with a few years on his neck in the league and a more mature age, we could have had an even better version than the version Parma has today. Instead, we bought Diego, start playing this stupid 4-3-1-2 and benched him and then sent him away. Who the hell does that? And you expect him to be positive about his two years with Juventus? Fuck that, if that was me I'd never return.

Ranieri was also the only Coach who even gave him a chance, him and Vinnie had made a useful partnership up front.
