I think he could excel in the LW and SS position.
All depends on the defensive reinforcements we get when he returns. We need a fullback that can cover for him, since he will be bullied off the ball constantly.Other than that i agree, he could defintely excel in those positions if given the chance.

We could push him up a little higher up the ground like we did with Krasic on the weekend. I like I like.

Sounds like a plan but i really doubt i would happen, unless the coach is prepared to be a bit daring.

Support Striker.

That is what his position will be when he comes back to Juve.

Notice I said "when"
I'd like to see that happen. He'd certainly provide a lot of opportunities in & around the penalty area, considering how he'd be hacked down.

If Juventus offered him a starting role, he would jump at the chance to come back. If he continues to do well while out on loan then Marotta and Del Neri will rethink their plans I'm sure.

Certainly is the case here, simply put. It's all in his hands now.

Maybe we should get him on the protein powder and get vinny to write him a program.
Sounds like a plan.

The positions on pitch are relative thing if you have a flexible coach. For example against Udinese both Pepe and Krasic were in the same position on paper in 442, but in reality Krasic played a lot higher up. With Azzurri Lippi used to switch formations like a madman, he used pretty much every formation possible that includes 4 defenders and a goalie, so as long we have a good balance in players abilities and work-rate it doesn't matter whether Giovinco is SS, AM or winger on paper, a good coach will always use him close to the attackers.

Parma's Sebastian Giovinco Trying To Understand Why He Never Got Juventus Chance
I've been pondering that question as well.

Of course he would, he is from Turin, his girl is from Turin and Juve is his club.. Its just that I think the club fucked it all up for him somehow and he has no trust for the club anymore. The guy has started the season really great and been man of the match in all of the three games he has played so far, if he keeps on playing this way, do you think he'll risk going back to Juventus only to get benched again? We should try to see all of this from his perspective as well.
