It's not my fault if you don't understand why Giovinco has struggled despite his obvious talent?

BTW I think Maradona was about 85kg, even in his prime.
He hasn't struggled. His size was never an issue when he was playing cause in most games he was always one of our better players(at least when used as a winger).

Anyway, 3-4m is what we're receiving according to the latest rumours. I'll say it right away, if Seba plays the way he did when he was playing with us then Parma has done one of the best transfers for next season. Great deal for Parma with that ridiculous fee for a player who was shining with players like Özil and Balotelli last summer.

I think he can only succeed as a wide left player just because of his attributes, coming onto his stronger side like Messi, but Messi is much harder to knock off the ball, he is wriggly and can hold his own. It's not about whether the guy looks buff or weighs 75kg, some players just have good upper body strength and balance, which is as important as anything. Too many times you see Giovinco both being shrugged off the ball and struggling to stay on his feet in contact. Every time he goes past someone it is either with skill or pace, he has to be used in a position that suits little contact which is why he doesn't play well as a trequartista at this level.

It makes no sense to keep him when he is not in the coach's plans, considering the players purchased (Martinez, Pepe & possibly Krasic). We also still have Camoranesi, who will probably end up staying because no one will match his current salary.

Its best for him and club to leave. Parma's Co-own deal sounds decent enough for now, even though he's worth much more.

no no co-own, loan is best choice.

Obviously Loan is the best choice for us, as supporters, because its basically a chance for him to prove to our management, what he can do, and will always be heading home at some point. However, its not great for the club he is loaned to. Especially as they are the ones training, nurturing, improving him.

Why should another club pour energy into improving of on OUR players, only to see him head back to us come the season's end???

With a co-own, as far as I am aware, if we want a player back, we have to get the other club to agree a price for their half. NOT simply pay them back what they paid us originally for the player's half. This way, the other club can be well paid for any improvements the player experiences whilst under their tutelage.

At worst, we get 3-4m for him now. If he does brilliantly, we will likely have to pay at least double that to buy back his other half of ownership.

What I am unsure about, is this:
During a co-ownership arrangement, what happens at the end of the season, if the clubs still wish to share the rights to the player, but one of them, lets say US, wants the player back with them. Would the choice come down to Giovinco? I mean...WHICH club decides where he plays the following season??? Is it always an auction/agreement on sale of the missing half, OR the player stays with the same club???

Can anyone shed light on this matter, please?

According to Article 102 bis of NOIF (Norme Organizzative Interne della F.I.G.C).[1] The co-ownership deal must be confirmed each year. The deal may expired, renewed, bought back or sold outright. Deals that failed to form a agreement after the deadline, will be defined by auction between the 2 clubs. Which the club will submit their bid in a sealed envelope. Non-submission may lead to the rights is free to give to the opposite side. The mother club could sold their rights to third-parties

hope this helps

what the hell is taking so long here? The sooner we can get our team together and playing together the better. Either stay or get lost now...
