What performances is he speaking of? :D
Every time he gets the chance to play. The 10 assists in just 1300 minutes last season, which made him 2nd in assists for us last season. The great performances in the U21 Championship where he created 3 out of 4 goals Italy scored and voted into the all star team.

My last glimmer of hope is this summer. If a coach who realises his talent comes then we can hope things change for him. Otherwise we are gonna look back and regert we wasted such a talent

And that warrants him to be labeled a proven world class player? Huh? Sorry, I don't hate Giovico, I like him, but let's be realistic and see that we have changed 3 coaches in the last year and a half, neither of which has been convinced by Giovinco for a starting place. Not to mention he wasn't even a regular at Empoli. So his occasional moments of brilliance really fade in comparison with the bench time he has done.

I don't know what's the reason for him continuously being overlooked by coaches, my guess is his physique, but the talent is obviously there and there's no player I would rather see succeed from this Juventus team. Let's just stop thinking of this boy as the next Messi or something, untill he strings up, at least, 3 months of good football together.

V,his moments of brilliance were almost every time he played.
By the way he will not bring even 1 month of good football because he didn't and doesn't have a proper chance.
And what 3 coaches we're taking about, all 3 of them are mediocrity and if they don't play him that doesn't mean he is less valuable. Those 3 guys are lost in space,Ranieri is having a bless from the sky in Roma but that won't least forever,Ferrara was lout of the universe ,and now Zac (who may be the best of those 3 mentioned but still far from the high class coach).
If someone like Guus wouldn't give Giovinco a single chance,I'd sell the guy in a moment but he is not that silly,he would exploit Giovinco's potential,he was full of prize for the guy after Chelsea knocked us out last year.

I agree with you on the coaches and their mediocrity, however it's all we got to go by so far. And as it stands, it doesn't look good for Giovinco. All we can hope is that we get a good coach next year and see whether this kid truly has it.

He has had it in the brief moments he has played the last 2 years. It's not fair that he hasn't had any consistency when he produces so much in such a short period of play.

Hasn't there only been 1 or 2 games so far where it's even been possible for Zac to count on Giovinco?

Once Seba's fully fit again, we can make an assessment on whether or not Zac is overlooking the player - he really hasn't had an opportunity to demonstrate whether he trusts Giovinco yet. If we play some more matches with the 4-3-2-1, I think Seba will definitely get some PT, initially as a sub. The guy has to be fully fit though, first... we're battling for our CL lives here. We can't afford to be inserting guys into the lineup who aren't match fit.

Forza Giovinco!

Italy is destroying young talents. It's a known fact now and Giovinco is just one of those. It has nothing to do with his fitness - he is just too young for us, or any other Italian team.

I still glad we got rid of Ranieri, even if he was always better than Ferrara. His statement was really awful when he said that Menez should have played at least 200 matches in France before coming to Italy. He's just one of those who insist on work rate and experience, seeing how he prefers to use Taddei. It's what kills Italy and it's why there are too many old players. Our "youngster" is Marchisio who is 24yo and that's it.

Roma had some great talents in their Primavera. Their ex goalkeepr was linked with Chelsea. Where did he end up? Loan at Arezzo. More players - same story. Davide Petrucci went to Manchester with a reason. Primavera is labeled as a Mickey Mouse competition. It's considered a joke but there are many good players. Some players even said that themselves, that nobody cares about them and by saying that, Italy is going to miss out many youth players because who the fuck is going to come there after all that?

Italy has yet to change and give the chance to youth players. What did Bonucci do more than Ariaudo? Nothing, but we are after Bonucci. We have some great players that aren't getting any chances. Immobile and Rossi come to mind. Especially Fausto, who literally owned Inter back then. The kid is something special but no - we will prefer to use Salihamidzic and we badly needed a winger. In some other team aboard do you think he'd get a chance? Of course.

Manchester gave a chance to many of them. Their 19yo RB is getting more and more chances, even in the CL against Milan. Barcelona is playing Pedro more and more while we are benching Giovinco more and more. Maybe they will realize it when they lose 4th CL place to Germans.
