I actually think that Gio's not getting playing time since his position is being favoured to Nedved. I think we may see him play MUCH more in the next season once Neddy retires. I guess C.Ra explained this to him, and that is why at least he seems calm and isnt demanding play time like crazy.

I think that's because he knows CR won't be here next season.

Yeah. Hopefully he doesn't start on the bench no more next season and hopefully we get a new coach and will try him out as a supporting striker also not just LM position.

What if our next coach doesn't play giovinco? Should we call for his axing? Or maybe we should settle with the fact that giovinco still has a lot of work to do to be a starter at juventus week in and week out.

If thats the case, why Marchionni who is MR played instead the suspended Nedved and Giovinco did not?

It's not Nedved. Ranieri played Marchionni and De Ceglie as LM when Nedved was not available, remember? He just doesn't rate player of this type. That's it. It's the same story when he benched Aimar in Valencia.

There are obviously a lot more reasons for Ranieri to be fired than just his treatment of Seba...

And it's not just the fact that he isn't consistently starting, Cyril. We're in a MASSIVE slide right now, and Giovinco's not getting ANY time PERIOD, fuck, he's hasn't even made the bench in a couple of our recent matches. We've been in games where we need to score, and our moron coach isn't making the third sub - instead, he's leaving Giovinco (and Trez, for the matter) on the bench to ROT.

Seba's demonstrated that he's productive when he plays, and the team has demonstrated that we SORELY lack creativity. There is NO excuse for Giovinco not getting some playing time, this is simply a CR power play to prove that he's in charge - akin to the situation with David. CR's comments about Seba's shortcomings on defense are absolutely absurd! Seba is NOT a LM; he just isn't... that's never going to be his best position - it doesn't match his skill set. He needs to be in a forward position (the best I've seen him is when he's wide, on the left of a trident), so he can focus on offense. He shouldn't really be thinking about tracking back at all - he's far from some powerful physical specimen, and all that extra running tires him out and makes him ineffective.

Giovinco obviously needs to improve and he will; the thing is that he needs to play to improve, and CR's treatment of this situation has been absolutely ridiculous and infuriating.

What the fuck are you talking about, it has nothing to do with Nedved even when nedved doesn't play he wouldn't put him in, didn't you see against Ac Milan he played marchioni instead, and sometimes he play De Ceglie instead. Marchioni is the worstl midfielder we have at the moment. He doesn't like skillful players, that's why even Camo has lost his confidience bcos of ranieri.

How is he ever going to 'do that work' if he spends his whole career sitting on the bench. Players improve through match experience. Our next coach will understand that, Ranieri is the only coach in the whole of Serie A that would do this to Gio.

Just look at Mourinho, he played Santon without hesitation. Ranieri would NEVER do that unless the whole squad was injured. He's a dick and he's damaging our team
