Apart from the shoot that hit the post he was poor. Lost the ball Too much and Too easy.

Vuci is clearly one class above gio, that was easy To See today.
Vucinic is clealry two classes above everyone else we have in attack. I still harbor some hope that he can convince JoJo to join us. Vucinic, JoJo, and Llorente, and we can throw all our other strikers in the nearest garbage dump.

Vucinic did not replace Gio he replaced Matri. Why don't you go on his thread and attack him for being slow and missing an one-on-one chance?
i did:)

matri cant handle competition and will never overcome hes low selfesteem. hes loosermentallity has now place at juve.

just wish we had a tall strong and good man to play beside vuci

agree

but i would keep gio as a sub, as he can be useful when we have the lead and on the counter.

he just isnt very effective, but he gets away with beeing poor for some reason. gio didnt contribute one bit to this victory. without vuci we would have lost
I think you need some glasses.

Right off the top of my head - and despite the fact that I watched this game on a fucking 6" stream, with no volume, at 6AM on 2.5 hours of sleep - Seba hit a post, he had a couple nice mini lob passes that put Kojo and Vuci in basically all alone (Kojo wasn't quite ready for the ball, Mirko tried to mini lob the keeper with the outside of his foot, put it over the net), and Giovinco was the only forward who did ANYTHING in the first half. So to say he did nothing to contribute to victory is silly. Just because a player isn't on the score sheet, doesn't mean he didn't contribute.

Fredrik, your agenda with this player is silly. You never have anything positive to say about him, at all - even when he's unavoidably due a compliment, yours is backhanded - and frankly, statements like the one above makes you look utterly clueless.

Jesus man, almost had to negative rep you for this :p

Way too harsh. You're blinded by your Jojo love, but because my love for Jovetic is also borderline irrational, I think I can forgive you some. But Giovinco is going to be a very useful player for us, has played fairly well so far, and deserves way more support from a Juventino like yourself.

It's also important to remember what most of us should realize by now: it's not like there is only room for one of Giovinco, or Jojo. It's not an either or - Juve's a top level club, multiple competitions, injuries will happen, and we need all the quality and depth up front that we can get. Jovetic could play with Mirko, he could play with Seba, he could play with Llorente, etc., etc. We need at least 2 SS's, and in case you haven't noticed (and of course, you obviously have), Vuci isn't doing too poorly playing up top. I really like the idea of having so much flexibility up front, and both Vuci and Jojo are certainly multipurpose.

It will never happen, but how fucking sick would it be to have Giovinco, Jojo, Llorente, Immobile, and Vucinic as our strikers next year? It's a ridiculous long shot at this point, but I think that would be sexbomb.

Llorente on a free, Jojo for 35-40 ( :howler: ), and bring the kid home. Buh-bye Matri and Qtube.

I don't think it's going to happen, but I do think it's feasible - financially speaking.

(Edit: Although it would very likely cripple Immobile's development)

Immobile-Giovinco/Vucinic
Matri as fourth striker.

No Jovetic and Llorente.
:D Love that confidence in Ciro.

But nah, buddy. And IMO, we should carry 5 forwards at this level of competition. Probably no Llorente, almost certainly no Jojo, but clearly we'll be purchasing at least one quality forward in either January, or June - and maybe Immobile will return as well.

We'll see what happens, but Matri's confidence has been in the shitter for going on 9 months. I really like the player, but if he doesn't get his shit together soon he's a goner IMO.

I wasn't being entirely serious :p I think Gio deserves his chance. Ideally, I'd like Immobile to stay @ Genoa till the end of the 2013-2014 season, whereby we can recall him, and slowly phase Vucinic out. Gio, JoJo, Immobile, Llorente, and Vuci for the 2014-2015 season doesn't look too shabby :D

Please forget Jovetic. He won't come, he'll cost a fortune and we've managed to piss of Fiorentina and they are not planning on selling their best player to us, especially with mega rich teams like City interested.

Fuck you both :D

OTM did say that Marotta will reopen the dialogue for Jovetic, and that Llorente is still being considered. Moreover, an Italian neighbor of mine whose sole job is to watch games and write football reports is in close contact with a few reliable journalists (who themselves have direct contact with some clubs), and he said that getting JoJo is a distinct possibility, difficult but not impossible. I choose to believe/trust Mark and my source than any of u fake informants
