Giovinco's agent Andrea D'Amico: "He has no problem with what number he wears. Whether it's number 20 which was Paolo Rossi's number for the national team, or number 10 which was worn by legends such as Platini, Baggio and Del Piero. Sebastian is ready."

Moggi on Giovinco: if the figures mentioned are true (11 million euros for half of the player) seems to be an operation without sense

Moggi: At 11 million I'd leave it Giovinco at Parma, with the money I would buy someone a bit stronger physically, a scorer.

Moggi: This team lacks a Trezeguet, not a fantasist, a missing 20 goals a season scorer...

Sense.

forgive me if I'm misquoting him, but didn't Agnelli say a year or two ago the Barca's was the model to follow?
Is that the reason for buying up all the midgets (Gio, Giacch, Verratti)

Yeah he did :D

The problem is we don't have a midget who can score 70 goals a season.

Agreed.

However, Moggi doesn't know Juve's budget.

No harm in getting Giovinco if they can also afford the goalscorer.

This. Its obvious they will try to find a goal scorer, a prolific striker, given the fact that our weakest stat last season was in the goal scoring department. Its just plain logic. Giovinco is a bonus practically,Juventus just capitalized on it. Yeah, 11 millions ofr our own players is kinda meh, but it has been explained a thousand times of why he cost that now, and by keeping him here he would never have reached the level he is now.....In other words, we practically sacrificed our money, in order to pay someone else to give him the chance we would never have given to him.

And talking about giovinco:

"Giovinco can’t wait for Juve return
By Football Italia staff

Sebastian Giovinco admits he’s keen to prove himself at Juventus again given his likely arrival from Parma.

The Old Lady are expected to buy Parma’s 50 per cent share in him this week given that he is wanted for next season’s Champions League campaign.

“I’m really very happy,” the 25-year-old told Tuttosport. “For now I’m just concentrating on Euro 2012 with Italy, but I can’t wait to go back to Juventus.”

Giovinco, 25, is a product of the club’s youth system. He was loaned out to Empoli in 2007-08, but returned to base after an impressive spell in Tuscany.

However, after two difficult seasons in Turin, he was sent out on loan to Parma in 2010. A year later they signed half of the player for around €3.75m.

He scored 15 goals in Serie A this term, tempting the Old Lady to buy him back in a deal that is expected to cost them about €11m."

He always been a Juventino, remember when I was on the opening game Juventus-Parma. Under the warmup Giovinco was getting the ball near the Juventus curva, all the Juventus fans stood up and gaved him a applaud. and he smiled and applauded back to the fans.

The hate on Juventuz.com from fans from Usa, Arabia and other places hasen't reached Turin yet ;). He will be welcomed back by the fans. They guy has been a Juventus since a kid, it has always been his dream to play in Juventus.

Sorry for my bad english :D

Vucinic is the kind of player that will shine in CL. I doubt Gio will get much time playing for us anyways. I really hope Marotta's preparing a swap for Jovetic.
