Best overall player of the season: Buffon (yes the oufield players contributed the most...but look at the saves our man between the sticks had to pull out this season to save results for us)
Best defender: Chiellini (his consistency throughout the season, esp having to lead the line after the dissappointment of andrade)
Best midfielder: Camoranesi/Zanetti (Camo showed his invaluable contribution to the team in the times he was fit; CZ not was not given a chance when we made our summer signing but got his chance and grabbed it with both hands)
Best forward: Del Piero, Trez & Iaquinta (I think all 3 deserve mention because of what they each brought, Trezegols goals early in the season, ale's late surge and iaquinta for his linical finishes when they most mattered & also his professionalism for not speakin about and makeing a scene about being on the bench)
Biggest surprise: Zanetti/Legro (both expected to be bit part players who went on to shine as stars in our team, though sometimes under rated through the season)
Biggest dissappointment: Almiron/Andrade (almiron had serie A experience so had no excuse for chokin so badly when he played; Andrade to me was a waste of money and we could have gotten a younger better player imo. we cudn't sell the guy for a bag of peanuts at the moment)
Best transfer: Sissoko/Iaquinta (momo added a lot of energy to the midfield amidst all the stick he got b4 he had even kicked a ball; IQ for his contribution compared to time played)
Worst player of the season: Molinaro/Almiron (molinaro is average going forward and atrocious at his defensive positioning, but does get away with it SOMETIMES because of his pace. He needs a mentor/1 on 1 training (w/ ciro?) to help him develop. Almiron for the same reason as above)
Favorite match: Inter 1-2 Juve (total ownage

Favorite goal: DP's 3 goals against lazio. 3 great assists by zanetti
Successful season yes or no: yes & no (yes because we achieve what we aimed for but we cud have been so much better off had we not bee so profligerant against the smaller teams)
