I like Berra. He is really developing into a good CB and i would quite happily see him starting for Scotland in a couple of years if he continues to develop.
:agree: i think Berra is starting to look good, just in time because Weir is starting to make mistakes, webster is always injured and mcmanus is simply terrible against opposition with any class. so hopefully he can keep progressing and earn a callup for Scotland's friendly against croatia next month.

and i agree about Mikos "dive", it was a penalty!unfortunatly it seems refs are always going to go against him unless its a clear cut case

I entirely agree with that assessment.

I didn't know that Miller had scratched Berra, but it was generally just two big guys giving everything the whole time.

As for the boy being booked for diving, it was right in front of me and I thought it was a penalty.

I can't stand Calderwood, aside from the off field issues you mentioned, he made 6 tactical changes from the side which played well and destroyed Falkirk in midweek.
to be honest with you berra has suffered this season, firstly with having that bombscare zaluikas beside him and then having the weight of captaincy on his young shoulders when we were struggling badly. thankfully zaliukas's suspension, allayed with tall's injury has allowed karapidis to step in and they are forming an excellent partnership. berra's one main asset is that he is pacy, unfortunately mcmanus is also left footed so both will eb vying for that slot as the left CB for scotland and since HE is celtic captain we all know he will automatically be picked:faq1:
as for miko i was fuming a few weeks ago whe he waas denied a foul when he was brought down right in front of the ref. was more annoyed with velicka's yellow card last week against hibs as it was a clear penalty

its a shame we are so small minded that we bear a grudge, and the SFA have a long memory it seems

Hearts have had too many soft penalties against us for you to get any sympathy from me.

It appeared on Saturday that the policy from the ref was that, with certain Hearts players, anything short of a broken leg wasn't a foul.

    Cheers.

You going to Hampden? I've a funny feeling that Hearts will win.

I'm going in hope rather than expectation. We have heaps of injuries and Tango doesn't have a clue how to play against a Levein side, despite them being totally predictable.

Apparently this will be Robson's last game for Utd before signing for Celtic.

How bad is the weather down South? Rumours going about that there is a pitch inspection at noon.

has been pouring since i got up mate, not been an abandoned game at tynie all season the groundsmen are excellent. hope that it aint called off, though it may be good for youlot if robson does go to celtic and misses the game..

cnnot see the reasoning in robson going there, nakamura and mcgeadya re established as teh wide mena nd even riordan cannot dislodge them. another money hungry old-firm wannabe

    Hopefully it will go ahead.

Just like with all the other SPL players that join the OF, money is the only reason for it.

Although, I think there is some hance of Nakamura leaving in the summer, so Robson may be a replacement.

on the plus side your chances of going through just increased as your injured players will be back and barry robson will be off

Yeah, its no bad thing that the game was off from that point of view.

We now have major fixture problems due to our Scottish Cup tie on Saturday being off. We are playing the next 4 midweeks, so fuck knows when it'll get played.

Ended up being an all day session yesterday, since I was already in the bar when the game was called off and stayed for the next 8 hours since I had nothing else to do.

hearts must concentrate on climbing the table and i dont think fergie meant 2 handball it......... i didnt celebrate the goal right away as i expected the goal to be chopped off, i remember he scored a cracker against hearts when i was at ibrox last season in the 2-1 game

whether he meant to or not his hands were high, by handling it he controlled it....sure the finish was excellent but if he did not handle it the ball would ahve bounced past him

still i never expected to win this game, never expectedto win this cup.all i am concentrated on is backing my team in the face of a difficult season, SFA bias and a vacant managerial post
