What's the Hearts spin on the draw the other night, Boz?

I wasn't there (due to an exam), but Dons' fans seem to be spending the whole time whinging about Hearts' players time wasting and feigning injury.

bloodt last post bug means i cannot see all your post andy but tbh mate it sounds like the usual pish from tango deflecting the blame away from himself and his teams inability to put 10-men (without their 2 recognised CB's) to the sword.
i cannot say we were innocent at all but there has been so many problems between our teams in recent years (lee wallace was sent off in the tunnel in the last game for retaliating after being kicked up the arse by one of your players)
yet as usual it is far easier to tar hearts as lying, cheating cunts. there is so little skill to scottish journalism and so few who questiion what is being written that it is pretty pointless reading any sorts reports except from the scotsman. i mean all week there has been talk about zaliukas's disciplinary problems, they have continually brought up that he was sent off at Pittodrie, yet it is conveniently ignored that he was sent off after being the victim of a headbutting attempt......

we are far from being angels, but we are nowhere near the only team that has resorted to "sportsmanship"

Aye, I was sort of assuming it was exaggerated. Also, there was 5 minutes added on at the end of the game, so I don't really see what folk were complaining about.

tbh we have been hammered, slagged off and goaded for our lack of ablity to put the ball in the net,yet i think you lot have only scored 1 goal more than us. JC will blame everyone and everything except himself and is bloody good at deflecting blame away from himself

I'm fully aware of that.

Reputation seems to have stuck that Hearts have trouble scoring, but folk haven't realised that our supposedly poor defence and good forward line hasn't quite worked out that way.

Tango still has his mates in the Glasgow Press and they keep peddling the myth that we play wonderful attacking football.

don't worry dundee united fans are just as delusional, despite Levein's preference to suffocate teams

Anyhoo, off to Ibrox the morn to see if we can keep our European chances alive.

Do us a favour and beat Utd, please.

if we can keep them out(with kari back and zali suspended there is a good chance) then we certainly have the creativity to unlock their defense, hopefully Templeton will gte more of a run out as his pace would certainly get behind the lethargic united CB pairing

It is a tough call.

I want Aberdeen to finish as high as possible, only if/when we fail will I take consolation from him getting booted.

Celtic fan signs up on a Rangers forum, makes a couple of posts and no-one is any the wiser he's a Celtic fan.

Then he makes a thread saying

Quote:
If you want tickets for next week's title decider away to Dundee United, read here...

Since the away allocation for Rangers fans of 5 thousand is long sold out. Tickets for the home end is the only solution.

But as we all know, if your not on Dundee United's official club/supporter database then you won't even be able to buy tickets for the home end.

Here's what to do..
Phone up the club shop. And ask to buy a pair of Dundee United kit socks. Don't even mention tickets for Sunday. They will become suspicious. Then when they take your sock order, personal details and process your payment your details will then be stored on their system. Give it a few hours until there's a shift change, phone up again and order your home tickets for the Rangers match and because of your sock order, you will be on their system and you will get your match tickets. It's perfect lads.

Turns out, there's no such database and all these stupid Rangers fans have ended up with hundreds of pairs of Dundee United socks and no match tickets.

United shop under siege
As Rangers fans try to get home end tickets for what could be an SPL title decider at Tannadice on Sunday, staff at Dundee United’s club shop have had to call in the police to restore calm (writes Tom Duthie).
With away end briefs sold out, over the past few days there has been a steady flow of Gers supporters heading for the ticket desk and posing as Tangerines fans in a bid to reserve seats for the home stands.

Thanks to a strict vetting system, though, the vast majority have been turned away and that has led to some angry scenes, with one instance, on Monday, seeing the police having to attend.

While they were on the scene in minutes, United’s own security staff had already restored order.

There has been a string of other incidents where staff have been verbally abused for refusing sales to fans who quite clearly had no allegiance to the home team.

And Tannadice director Derek Robertson has paid tribute to the ticket office team for the way they’ve been handling another difficult end to the season — they were in a similar position when Celtic won the league there last season.

“The ticketing and shop staff have been absolutely superb. Despite being under severe pressure and often being subject to abuse, both over the phone and in person in the shop, due to the strict verification procedures for ticket sales for this match, they've coped very well with good humour and patience,” he said.

“The police had to be called in only once and, even then, our security people had the matter well in hand. We’re a small business in most respects and we’re very lucky to have such good staff.”

Derek himself got a taste of what club employees are having to put up with when he manned the phones in a bid to help cope with demand.

“It was amazing to hear from so many life-long United fans, who didn’t appear on any of our numerous databases or who couldn’t answer the most basic of questions about the club.

“There will undoubtedly have been some genuine United fans, who, for some reason or another, couldn’t satisfy any of the database criteria, but most seemed to accept the situation.

“This does, however, again demonstrate how important it can be to make sure they’re on a database — if not a season ticket holder, then by joining ArabTRUST or ArabZONE or subscribing to the free weekly e-newsletter.”

Today, only a small number of single-seat tickets for the United end remained, and they must be purchased in person at the ticket office.

There were a few huns in the Aberdeen end for the last game of last season.

They won't be doing that again, though, after what happened. :boxing:

Did anyone else get sent that story on the Dundee Utd socks? :D
Saw it on an Aberdeen forum a couple of days ago. :D
