i think both Commons and Morrison have shown that we ahve the players to go 4-4-2 but your 4-3-3 could work with Maloney-Fletcher-Mcfadden
:agree:

For the first time in quite a while we have decent attacking wide players with Commons, Morrison, even McCormack or Maloney.

Again those players could work as wingers in a 4-3-3 but i'm not convinced we have a good enough striker for that system.

I'm just happy we won't have to rely on Gary Teale anymore! next to get rid of Alexander :eyebrows:

gary teale is the modern day pat nevin:lol:

agreed on alexander also but as much as i hate to say it, it is time naysmith was phased out as well. bring in Lee Wallace, the laddie has been sensational for Hearts this year and it is surely only a matter of time before some of the bigger clubs start sniffing round him

nice!

great performance by the JT's yesterday, the only disappointment was in not getting teh winner our play deserved. since we lost 2-0 at tynie to celtic earlier in the season we are 4 games unbeaten against the old firm, how we could have done with a striker this year is something i can only think wistfully

While Aberdeen weren't good yesterday, it was one of the more watchable home games of this season and we did deserve to win.

Cracking anti-Tango protest after the game; apparently only 20 folk showed up.

Forza apathy!

I had been saying the same thing, as much as I used to like Naysmith, I think injuries have taken their toll as he has lost a lot of pace. Its as though he is called up purely because the manager cannot think of anybody else.

I don't see why Wallace hasn't been given a chance, he has had a great season and deserves a go!

tbh there really is no point in demonstrating, Milne is not a fool and will not remove a man who could still possibly lead you into europe. that said i think he also knows just how strong the feelings of the support are against JC and will probably come to a "mutual agreement" this summer, with a little money to spend they may try and entice levein, who has probably taken united as far as he can

i was a fierce critic of wallace last season, his positional awareness was awful, but he is certainly teh most improved player we have this season, when you look at the improvement in performance of the whole team from last year that says a lot.
i feel he should be a real contender for young player of the year, and a string contender for Hearts player of the year, if he continues to play this well it is surely only a matter of time before international recognition comes his way

A lot of folk want rd of Tango, but most realise that just now is not the right time to go protesting.

I don't think he will be Aberdeen maneger at the start of next season.

I think you'll find that John 'Messiah' Fleck has Young Player of the Year in the bag...

He can't even get in the Scotland U21s ahead of Chris "Phil 'Bebo' McGuire" Maguire, and he ain't much good.

As the song goes:

He plays on the right,
He plays o the left,
That boy Maguire is average at best.

What?

Playing the same shit teams four times a season must get boring after a while.

He's a good player, but he isn't justifying how big a wage he is one, so I'm not that bothered whether he stays or not.

Today marks the day that my second team St. Johnstone won promotion to the SPL.

Was at the game today and having seen a few SPL sides this season, I am sure that we will be an asset to the league.
