Yeah but I didn't expect they'd score 4 against Celtic.

And no one in PL predicted Aberdeen would win this.
Ye of little faith.

First time in 24 years we've put four past them. We've have quite a few 3-2's and stuff against them in recent times. It was always going to be high scoring.

I thot you'd be drunk and spend the rest of the night sleeping on a park bench after this victory :D...
If I ever happen to come to Aberdeen, you are buyin me a real one :malt: :D
It's one of these occasions where I am happy to bask in my own smugness. No need for alcohol, and there is a Juve game that needs watched.

Actually dusan, the general concencus this season is that both halves of the old firm are there for the taking. Aberdeen, dundee united and hearts are all more than capable of beating both of them

Brewster has been sacked by Caley, which is no surprise.

I wonder if Tango will bring him back as backup for Lee Miller? :shifty:

Pittodrie sold out for game tomorrow.

Means three consecutive home games will be:

18,000 v Hearts
18,000 v Celtic
20,000+ v Rangers

Just need to make it seven home wins on the bounce now...

Aberdeen, not unlike Scotland, have a proud tradition of failing as soon as they are expected to do something.

Big crowd, good form, just beat the champions and most of the Dons' fans will be disapointed if we don't win tomorrow.

I've just seen Aberdeen flop too many times to allow me to get my hopes up for this one.

Well, a draw is a decent result, but that was one of the dullest games against der hun that I have seen. Both teams were clearly content with a draw (not that I'm complaining).

On a side note, I hate lunchtime kickoffs. The atmosphere is flat and it transmits to the pitch, which leads to tame matches.

It was an awful game!!!

I wouldn't say Rangers were content with a draw they seemed to be really going for it in the last 10 mins, but that was the only real time they started to put Aberdeen under pressure.

I agree about lunchtime kickoffs, especially when the Old Firm has to travel to Inverness or Aberdeen for a 12:30 KO. But again the SFA don't think about the fans.

Oh, and Rangers crocked our 'keeper, as they have a proud tradition of doing.

Now, does it look like the ball was there to be won or was it just a kick in the face?

Rangers tried to push forward a bit at the end, but that was primarily due to how much Aberdeen chose to sit back and allow them time to play.

doubt it, the wee weegies (st mirren et al) will still vote for whatever the old firm want so that they don't piss them off

Probably. One can always dream, though.

Fraser was pretty angry at having to accept the Old Firm taking a cut of the ticket sales at Pittodrie.
