Former Real Madrid chairman Lorenzo Sanz is set to arrive in Parma tomorrow to finalize his take-over of the Emilia-Romagna city’s Serie A club.
Upon his arrival, Sanz is expected to meet with the club’s interim management and deposit the second half of the payment needed to take over 100% of the club’s shares.

The deal for the club’s sale needs to be finalized by October 15th, or Parma will go bankrupt.

Oh, at a first glance I thought that Real were planning to buy Parma.. :doh:

But anyway, hopefully this will breathe new life into Parma. (but not enough to win the scudetto .. )
