I think banning may be taking it a bit too far but I get where you're coming from. We all have friends on Facebook who talk about how they carry in public and shit and once you're see who those people are, it makes you wish guns were banned.

It's a little like the having children question. Some might argue only the people smart enough about children to not have them are qualified to have them responsibly and competently. Then substitute children for guns.
