His energy and running is a huge part of our midfield being stable and good this season. 2 man mid would limit him his output.

This is why it sucked giving away marchisio or sturru. You play a 3 man midfield and you only have 5 for 3 position. Now 2 are out and you are down to 3 for 3. Terrible management from allegri and management.

Squad was built for 4231. Allegri figured out after first half of first game that we need to play a 3 man mid and that Ronaldo has to play on the left.

Squad should've been built for both 4231 and 433, esp because of what happened in the past. Umpteenth time squad was built for one formation, and we ended up playing another under Allegri.
