I dont get how this guy is a starter at us and the German NT. What does he offer nowadays? Can't pass, tackle or score. I think he has been very fortunate in his career to play alongside Xabi Alonso, Schweinsteiger Kroos and Pjanic/Pirlo because he can't do jack shit himself.
