absence of a mid who can soak up pressure hurts him

pogba was good in drawing players and taking on 1-5 players at times which left space for khedira.

it doesnt help that dybala, the other player who takes pressure and opens space for khedira is injured

whenver khedira plays, cuadrado should play as well
Khedira is a good complementary player. When you need him to be a main guy, you will be disappointed.
This is bad then. If he cannot operate without the Pogbas of the world...then he is of no use to us. We need first class players and leaders who can dictate the tempo on the midfield...or simply bulldozers ala vidal who can make things easier for others.

If Khedira, being the world champion he is.... cannot do any of this... then he has no place in this Juventus. No one here will be carried. If he will continue being terrible, he can leave in winter. Im dead tired of his lack of balls.

I've tried to do less of that, on advice from people like you, which is why I haven't argued with the more reasonable and measured complaints lately, like yours. Same with some of the others. And while there certainly is reason to complain there is also reason to be optimistic that this team and coach will figure it out.

It's the same users posting doom and gloom every single day. As though this team is some nightmarish disaster with no chance to ever improve.
What about taking the hard truth like a man instead of trying to find every little positive twist that there is in this horror shows?.

Unlucky Sami lately :/

Nah, just tired and badly out of form. Can't ever expect him to be a go-to guy in midfield, but he's making some basic errors in every game lately.
He lacks fitness, it's quite obvious, we have 123948230948 options for the central midfield yet we start guy that was having special recovery session just to be ready to play yesterday :sergio:

Never been a fan of him since he joined. So what if he does the simple things well? he lacks pace and bite. He can go join a mid-table team and be a star there. I actually wanna see Lemina play more instead of this boring player.

Yes, I should be like you. It's very manly to whine and cry like a baby about a brief stretch of poor form from your favourite football team. Cheers to you for pointing that out. I will try to bemoan the "fact" that we are so terrible and cry bitter laments about it a little more often so I can be a man.

It happens because since the end of transfer market 80% of the forum has been like "oh wow, with so many quality players we will roflstomp 90% of the teams that come our way" and whenever someone raised concerns about our CL group not being very easy or our team potentially not being THAT good they got laughed at. Now the ones with crazy expectations are getting depressed with the current reality and the ones who have been sceptical from the start are going into semi-crazy I told you mode.

It's sad how much people let prejudice cloud their judgement on certain unflashy players. So many people have decided to just dislike some of our players and have waited for the perfect opportunity to do so. I understand criticizing the form of certain players but that doesn't mean that the player in question suddenly can't play football.

It would also be fair to atleast use the same measuring stick for our players. At the start of the season when Dybala was slightly out of form many blamed Allegri for fielding him in the wrong position or other players for not helping him out, why don't we give the likes of Khedira and Mandzukic the same benefit of doubt?

Khedira is only 29 so I'm afraid the dislikers will need to tolerate the sight of him in a Juve shirt for years to come.

Not true. I'm not getting depressed, far from it. Like all of us i saw us go down to Serie B, saw the 7th place finishes, so excuse me if i don't freak out over a 1:1 draw against Lyon or being 1st in Serie A. Let the sceptical users have a little fun, cause in the end they will be the ones who'll get to hear the i told you so's.

It's a relief to see Khedira getting some rest and at the same time getting benched because of his poor form (for a lot of time now).

But not for Sturaro, man. Lemina should be playing.
