Never mind comparisons, I'd just love it if he put his injury problems aside as of now. Very useful player, certainly i'd look to him in big games to keep things calm and ticking in midfield. Whereas Vidal for all the joy he brought us was a fucking loose cannon and depending on how nice a ref was feeling he was a huge risk.

Now imagine if I said that.

Agreed, but only in his last season with us where he was mostly average. But yeah, we are actually very lucky we weren't playing with 10 men against Dortmund away and the CL final with the way he was going.

Keep telling yourselves Vidal wasn't that good.

Good work by Khedira though. He makes some really dangerous moves forward and he has the skill and composure to finish which was one of the things this team missed most since losing Vidal. It's good that Pogba doesn't have to do all the work towards goal and that he and Khedira can rotate in that role.

He is better than vidal march 2014- jan 2015.
It's good to find vidal's replacement for free.

Pogba-Marchisio-Khedira is one of the best midfield three in the world, and cost us next to nothing :D
I know. God. When Asamoah is fit. Stuaro has his moments. Padoin is a JCK-of-all-trades.

Our depth got us 9 straight wins. Even with the injury record. :touched:

i think Asamoah cost more than all of our other CMs combined. :D

And the irony is he can never play :D

Pogba-Marchisio-Asamoah is better.
Arguably, but that doesn't make for such a nice stat :D

And Asamoah & Pogba technically play the same position - though that issue should be able to be solved in the space of a few training sessions.

I mean in reality Khedira probably costs us more than Padion & Sturaro anyways due to wages, but it's a nice stat.

That won't be a problem when Pogba leaves next Summer. :p
