Well i'm not in a position where I can tell you if/when we're buying an actual playmaker so you'll have to just go with it. Or play an even older even more defensively insecure Pirlo all the time and hope that we get plenty of direct free kicks for him and sacrifice our entire midfield to protect him in the hope that he can pull off a key pass.

I did not say the solution is keep playing Pirlo. But 4 man midfield of hardworking box to box players where only one who occasionally does something creative being Pogba is asking for a extremely predictable issues down the line.

He creates as much as the current Pirlo does. We need to move the creativity up front anyways. Vidal and Pogba will also get the odd pass through.

To me this signing is not another genius move from Marotta/Patriaci ala f.ex. Barzagli, its just an obvious bargain. Therefore it is baffling to me why there were so little real contest for his signature. Khedira, as a freebie, is good enough for every club in the world. Even as a rotation/squadplayer (like hes gonna be here) in Barca. So why didnt the likes of Milan, Inter, Roma, ManU, Chelsea, PSG etc who needs him more than Juve steal this move? Or at least show interest? Oh what a stupid world! I laugh all the way to the bank.

Inter and Milan are mid-table teams nowadays. Other teams would offer him much less playing time too. I'm pretty sure Khedira will plenty of matches here. Plus, not to mention we won 2 titles and played a CL final. I don't think it's easy for players to say no to Juve right now.

If it wasnt Juve, he would most likely play for Schalke next year. They barley reached EL.

one of the reasons i dont like these vidoes, especially for players who are more defensively orientated, is that they simply cut out all the contacts with the ball from a player and put it into a video. you never get to see a players off ball movement, how well he covers ground, how he defends set pieces, his positioning when the opponent attacks in transition, how he reacts and how fast gets into position when his team loses the ball, his other runs without the ball when he dont receive the pass etc. i wish there were videos that would show us these qualities instead. before i even clicked on that, i knew what will follow - Khedira receives pass, Khedira passes away, Khedira receives pass, Khedira passes away... so boring

Yeah I say the same thing about Pirlo and Pogba. ;-) What I mean is that I think it is strange the freebies comes so easy for Juve. Im not complaining of course.

there are a lot of freebies each summer. the ones we sign simply turn out better than the ones other teams sign. we exactly know what our team needs and focus on that, maybe thats why we often succeed.

about Khedira, i think he was wanted by top EPL clubs like Arsenal, United or even Chelsea. that he picked us when he could get a better salary in United or Chelsea is what im happy for.
