He could be one day. He has the scope and ability to become world class. Right now he is not the finished article. He was part of a world class midfield at Juve but he himself is not solely world class at least not yet
He is both world class and still not a finishes article. Just shows you how great his potential is, when hes (one of) the best mid in the game while still developing

Juve never lose with Khedira on the pitch. German scores as much as Vidal

27 August at 22:27
Juventus snatched a 1-0 win over Lazio on Saturday evening with goal came courtesy of Sami Khedira. The German had also netted in the Old Lady’s 2-1 win over Fiorentina last week-end and, after the departure of Paul Pogba, and waiting for the recovery of both Claudio Marchisio and Miralem Pjanic, he’s the absolute leader of Juventus’ midfield.

Khedira joined Juventus in a free transfer last season and has played 27 games with the Serie A giants since then. Impressively, Juventus have never lost one single 90 minute game with Khedira on the pitch. The Germany International was replaced when Juventus were 2-0 up in last year’s Champions League clash against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena.

The 29-year-old’s capability of bossing the midfield is second to only a few other midfielders in the world and his devastating impact on Juventus’ attack is comparable to the one of Arturo Vidal.

The Chile International netted 48 goals in 171 games with Juventus with a goal-per-game ratio of 3.5. Khedira’s 7 goals in 27 games highlights a very similar trend. The former Real Madrid ace has scored one goal every 3.8 games.

Khedira has become the perfect replacement for Vidal who left Juventus last season. The German plays in the same position that used to be occupied by the current Bayern Munich star, but given Khedira’s tendency to pick up several muscle injuries throughout the season, both Allegri and Juventus’ medics will have to manage him in the best way possible in order to make him play as much games as possible.

Vidal was our PK taker though. 10 of his 35 Serie A goals were penalties. 5 of 11 in CL/EL. 1 of 2 in Coppa Italia/Supercoppa. thats 16 out of 48 goals that were PKs. if we count 32 instead of 48 goals, that would take his goal per game ratio down quite a bit.

this isnt to take anything away from Arturos contribution but just to show how great of a goalscorer Sami is
