I factored that in, but khedira is no holding mid player or deep lying playmaker by any stretch of the imagination. So i doubt he'll be playing in pirlos position(I'm guess that will be marchisios spot next season).
exactly. but Marchisio this season has played as a right CM when all 4 of Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio were playing. now with Pirlo gone, Marchisio would move to the middle and Khedira take his place at the right as a b2b with Vidal staying as an AM upfront

that atleast seems like the most likely thing to me...

Its not likely that he'll be a regular starter here. He'll rotate a lot.

Why do people suddenly think a player who had injury issues in the past will suddenly start for us ?

I bet if Arsenal and united signed him this yr,the signing would have been viewed differently but now that juve signed him,ppl are sure he'll start or replace one of the starters who are supposedly departing :disagree:

Or when we move to a 4-3-2-1 formation.

Vidal - Marchisio - Pogba
Tevez - Dybala
Morata

We would never sign him if we didn't intend to start him, i think the same applies to juve, the guy earns too much and would be an expensive luxury if he were to be bought as a back up or rotational player.

I doubt we will even try to play like that without Pirlo. I think Pirlo is the only reason we do this season. When he's not in the squad we don't use anyone to try and copy his play.

Even if he wouldn't be a sure starter when everyone else is fit, he'd play a lot of games. He can fill in in 3 midfield roles, for all of which he'd probably be the first choice back-up/rotational player when others are rested or injured. That means a serious amount of gametime, Pereyra played 45 games this season as well.

I'm sorry but i totally disagree with your posts in here. Juve have too much quality for this guy just to walk into the starting 11. Even if we do intend on having him start for us, I doubt it will be automatically. Also why does this signing imply we are getting rid of one of our starting players not including Pirlo? We also just spent 30m on Dybala who i doubt will be spending the majority of the time on the bench. Khedira in my opinion will come and will get plently of playing time but to assume he will be a starter is something else

We tried to sign him last summer but his wage demands were too high, now that he's spent an entire season not playing competitive football, I'm sure they've gone down, but still i cant imagine him cpming to warm the bench, i feel some kind of assurances of first team football were given, but that would only be possible if one of the midfielders was leaving, can't see him anywhere near the starting lineup otherwise.
    :agree:

Vidal is going to Arsenal of course.
