Lol, because Russia has a pristine reputation for avoiding war crimes? Russia bombed every hospital in Syria they could.
But anyway, they've used an X-101 rocket, which has a delta of < 50 meters. Videos show that the rocket is entirely intact. So yeah, they wanted to hit the hospital, maybe not the toxicology building, but the main building, where most of the kids with cancer are.
Sorry i was being sarcastic. It just drives me insane that children are dying in Ukraine and Palestine, and that there is very little empathy towards thousands of children in Gaza that are laid to rest in unmarked graves compared to Ukraine.

I suppose dead children in unmarked graves in Mariupol/Izium/Bakhmut/Chasiv Yar/etc. should stop being so privileged

Today marks the anniversary of one of the most brutal instances of ethnic cleansing, known as the Massacres of Poles in Volhynia and Eastern Galicia, perpetrated by Ukrainians.

A little info from Wikipedia:

The peak of the massacres took place in July and August 1943. These killings were exceptionally brutal, with most of the victims being women and children. The UPA's actions resulted in up to 100,000 deaths, with the death toll ranging between 60,000 and 120,000.

Maksym Skorupskyi, one of the UPA commanders, wrote in his diary: "Starting from our action on Kuty, day by day after sunset, the sky was bathing in the glow of conflagration. Polish villages were burning."

This is to remind everyone that the war between Russia and Ukraine involves two brutal, ruthless countries that have committed genocides.

Does this mean we get to invade and takeover Japan today? I hear they have great yachting like Russia.

It's an important and very sad anniversary to remember, especially now - if you choose to turn it into a joke, well, it says a lot about you.
I refuse to partake in what you're trying to do here.
    Enjoy your day.

Is this guy talking nonsense or does Ukraine sitting on minerals worth trillions ?
I think Graham is trying to convince the MAGA rabble not to abandon the US strategic interest. Money is a language many of them understand.
We do have some minerals afaik, but nothing extraordinary.
However, bringing the mineral mining and processing industry here after the war would be awesome. For the Western world, it would be another source of cheap minerals—low labor cost, weak regulations, etc., and for us, this would mean jobs and a new industry. Win-win.

@s4tch been reading some crazy stuff about Orban opening visa free travel for Russians

He’s either openings Europe’s gates for hybride warfare, or (playing the devil’s advocate a bit here) anticipating on a more normal situation, maybe in case Trump wins and if he forces peace between Ukraine and Russia

Besides that it seems that Russia won’t go on the offensive anymore coming months in Ukraine

sorry for the late response, i tried to get some info on it. it's not some travel visa but a work permit that was so far available for citizens of some non eu states (serbs or ukrainians), but now they opened it for several new states, including bosbians, macedonians, moldovans, montenegrins - and russians, belarusians too. and that's without any national security check

so yes, it is a security threat. it's rumored to replace the opportunity what disappeared when the bank co-owned by russians often called as spy bank went bankrupt. i hope they cancel it asap, it's outrageous

Crazy. Even though I’m against Putin, I can understand if some countries try to balance things a bit out, in case the war ends. After all we’re all different countries within the union with different relationships and histories, so it’s in a sense also healthy if you have a country with some diplomatic ties in case the situation normalises, they’re the ones able to negotiate a peace deal with all the parties.

This move though seems like such a obvious mistake, given that there are a bunch of incidents on a European level directly related to Russia, and with our open borders Orban puts other countries at risk. Ugly move
