It is, what it is man.

The same Russia commited crimes and atrocities in Syria that were more severe than what we've seen in Ukraine so far. We shouldn't even start talking about the Chechen genocide. No sanctions, no nothing then. Everyone's all up in arms now though.

Turkey shoots down a brazen Russian jet violating its airspace, on it's way to bomb bakeries, markets and hospitals in Syria; ERDOGAN BAAAAD!
If Swedes or Estonians shoot down a a Russian jet on it's way to Ukraine today, they'd be praised.

There will always be bias and double standards at the end of the day.

:rofl:Putin says that Ukrainian air defenses are totally destroyed but in reality russian aircrafts and helicopters are keep on getting destroyed. And then people tell me BUT BUT BUT FREEDOM OF SPEECH, no, if you are a blatant liar, blatant spreader of fake news then you have no rights to apply for a freedom of speech
That's what western media want you to see. And while it's all well and good that they are getting shot, the same thing is occurring the other way round, sadly. We just don't see those images of Ukrainian aircraft getting gunned down, probably so that morale doesnt decline.

The media are painting a very rosy picture of the situation for that reason. But ppl therefore are being duped into thinking that Ukraine is winning this war when it's rlly not the case.

There’s intel from early 2008 showing US/NATO were aware that Ukrainian NATO membership aspirations could potentially lead to civil war and Russian intervention. In April/December 2008 compromises were made on MAP for both Ukraine and Georgia, in part because some European members wanted to avoid antagonising Russia. In August 2008 Russia invades Georgia under very similar pretexts to Ukraine (pro-Russian separatist regions, pro-NATO/western government), and would later go onto credit the invasion with having prevented membership. So it seems like the west/NATO may have had a good idea of what would eventually happen in Ukraine if agreements on military neutrality/non-NATO status couldn't be reached. I'm not blaming NATO here (should be entirely up to Ukrainian people which alliance/economic groups they want to be in), just don't believe there was any dissonance in positions or that they were taken by surprise. If anything Russia building up its army on the border multiple times in the past 8 years (and allegedly having to wait until after winter olympics had ended) gave the west/Ukraine time to prepare.
Thanks for clarifying. Will read further into this

Ukrainians never blew up Russians in terrorist attacks

The issue between Putin and Ukraine have absolutely nothing in common with Palestine - Israel relationships
This is truth with no doubts when it comes to Palestine they are like, "don't mix politics" & when it comes to Ukraine they are like "plz stop the war"

It plays a part that the victims look like them, but in reality it's two different sets of problems. That it's part of the western world is more important than their hair and eye colour. People care about what's around them and most likely to affect them.

It's frustrating how some of you don't believe what @Juventino[RUS] is saying about Putin, Russia and Russian propaganda.
To prove that he's right, I just wrote to Russia's Ministry of Interior, told them that he is spreading false news about military, he's discrediting the Russian armed forces, and I showed them the screenshots I took.
Once they take him away and give him up to 15-years prison sentence, you'll all be proven wrong and you'll see that he was telling the truth all this time.

What is the reality, that Russia are doing really well? They quite clearly aren't, but still have overwhelming weaponry in their favour.

It's important for Ukrainian morale that the positives are highlighted or exaggerated. This type of propaganda has been used since warfare was written down.
