Rules re: insulting loaned/co-owned players (19 Viewers)

Should the forum rules protect loaned/co-owned players from insults?

  • Yes, they belong to Juve whether they currently play for us or not

  • No, if they're not part of our squad, they're not considered Juventus players.

I'm red flagging this, completely unacceptable.
 Yeah, I was probably one of the ones handing out red cards like candy when it came to Del Neri last season. You know what it's like for a mod to have to enforce policy even when you're thinking the exact same thing about a guy? :D

What if they play at another club and don't ever play for Juventus? I think it's a very valid debate.
The debate is over what constitutes a "Juventus player". Some of us believe that are those on the squad roster. Others interpret that as having as little of a single Euro of investment in someone who plays for FK Mustachistan.

You can see where my opinion sits on the matter by the way I framed it. :p

the rules are crystal clear, and there is more than person on the mod team to interpret and apply them if even you do not agree with how one of they may or may not adhere to them.

the democratic process has clearly also shown us that the current interpretation is fine.
If the rules are crystal clear, then they don't need to be interpreted.

Also, the rules say 'Do not use foul or abusive language'. So if the rules are clear, then why are you breaking them?

Graham opened it to collect public opinion with the initial caveat that we can still ignore your asses anyway. :p

So there isn't a moving-on per se...

because all rules do require interpretation and enforcement based on sensibility and context.

When Giovinco plays against Juventus is he a Juventus player? When he scored for Parma is he a Juventus player?
:agree:
I think Juventus player is someone directly contributing sth to the club in a season, not recieve salary from it and play for another team. One example is compared between Manninger and Giovinco, Manninger didn't play any single minute for Juve this season, but technically if Buffon and Storari have been injured, he would have been subbed in for them. Giovinco in the other hand couldn't do anything to help Juventus.

Obviously, loan or co-own are ways for the young players to develop and when these players come back they might contribute more for the club. However until then, they should not be considered Juventus player.

We need to forget about what type of contract the player is on whether it be loan/co-own etc and just look at which shirt the players wears.

Then the rules aren't crystal clear.
Seriously Sheik, be cool.
And you be cool about the excessive, targeted, unreasonable insult-spams. It's clear that you do it to troll all the Giovinco fans and hate for the sake of hating rather than for any other reason. People here always gang up on players when they perform badly and make mistakes. But it all dies down after a while. This Giovinco thing has been going on for weeks, and is being consistently kept up by trolls like you, Jack, Klin and Bianconero_Aus. It's not even funny anymore. So you guys should cool it too.

Nice point. Because if the definition is receiving salary, every one of our canned coaches, from Ranieri to Del Neri, would have immunity for a period after their dismissal as we saw out their contracts. :andyandbarcelona:

Fuck, just woke up, it's 10am and I'm 'bout to brush me teeth\shower then continue on with my morning routine. Smoke a spliff\cigarette, drink tea and read the Jewbinco threat for some good vibes. Now my routine is fucked...I miss the Gio thread.

But yo, in all seriousness, this censorship thing is absolute bullshit. I can understand that certain people don't wanna read certain stuff but what if other do. Why can't that be respected. Personally I'm not too fond of religious debates\talk etc, so I don't go in that thread nor do I participate in it....I don't ask for it to be closed. Either ways...take it easy, relax, take a couple puff and laugh at Jewboy.
