Molinero is Stephen Hawking next to this guy.

He is a typical R.Madrid wide-back, no brain, no tactical apptitude and no defensive abillity what so ever, see Marcelo or almost any wide back Madrid had since R.Carlos for further exemples.

I say hell no.

Average player, at best.

He had potential but it just stopped due to his lack of brain. Runs like a headless chicken, usually without any idea in his head, where to go and what to do.

Before people start talking, he's a bad left back. He plays better, still bad, in the middle but overall it'd be a small upgrade in our squad. Decent transfer only because it's loan, but we can always do better since he's really inconsistent and weird.
Yet defensively he is far better than De Ceglie and Grosso,n in fact even better than them offensively cos Grosso has passed it.

Though i agree with u that he is better as LW than LB,but if he comes i would like him to play as LB as long as we already have better LWs than him.

And yes,the best thing about the deal is that it is loan.

Hmmm...I guess that makes Sergio Ramos the same then?

I'm glad you mentioned him..

I'v never got the hype around Ramos, very athletic and physical yeah but again watch him closely and see how many times in a game he tries going past someone and loss the ball, he even over-value himself
Not to mention his crosses if you want to call them that. they suck.
He is fast so it looks impresive when he chaces someone down the wing but he getd cought alot of time out of position because he joins the attack too much.

he's not bad player, but far from world-class IMO.

IMO, splashing cash on Dzeko means Drenthe on loan is Marotta’s plan.

He’s a good midfielder. Awful full-back.

Drenthe, Martinez, Lanzafame and Pepe.

Pacey wingers, but somehow clueless at the final third.

Four very average wingers you have there Wahdan. I would argue that Giovinco offers more quality then all of them.

We need Krasic more than we do Dzeko so that the like of Pepe and Lanzafame aren't starting week in, week out.

As for Drenthe, he is very physical and pacey but lacks a footballing brain. I am sure there are better options for both the LB and RW positions.

Personally I would rather have someone that can score rather than someone that can produce opportunities for strikers notorious for missing sitters.

But that's just me.

Ramos is an idiot.

A very athletic idiot, but an idiot nonetheless.
I disagree, he may play dirty, but although he is sometime s a defensive liability , I find he is consistent defensively, and he can attack like he's ronaldo at times.

how can he be a liability and consistent at the same time?

anyways, have we signed him as a winger or a fullback?

I think he would be a very good signing honestly. He has quality which is something we have not been bringing in. I think he can become a Vargas type left mid for us... Because Vargas was also a LB who could not defend but when given freedom he excelled.

I would feel alot better having Drenthe as an option for our left wing over Martinez as our sole choice. Drenthe was probably Madrid's best player against us when we played them in the CL under Ranieri. I think he would be perfect in Del Neri's 442
