Jérôme Rothen says that he only agreed to stay at Paris Saint-Germain after the club assured him that significant changes will be made in the summer.

The France international, 27, emerged from talks with the PSG bosses this week convinced that the club are prepared to make drastic changes to move forward.

He said: “Leaving was a possibility for me. But at the same time I always told myself that the bosses, the staff and the players must also have felt something was wrong.

“When something is wrong you have to try to make it right and that’s what we are going to do. During a season it’s difficult to fire players and bring in others, but this is now possible.

“If I hadn’t been certain that the club wanted to make the same changes that I wanted, I would have asked them to respect my choice to leave.

“It was out of the question to start again with the same group. I've had enough of certain attitudes. I am unable to train alongside guys who don’t care about whatever problems there may be.”

PSG finished the season a disappointing ninth in Ligue 1, while Rothen, who suffered an injury-ravaged first season at the Parc des Princes, scored one goal in 18 matches.

I've been a huge fan of him since he was at Monaco a real fighter with natural born talent a speed devil with great crossing skills.
We have been linked with him since then, but suprisingly we didn't made any offer for such a player.
Now, hes unsure about the future at his current club, and I think that we have to be able to make a bid for him.

I think Rothen would be perfect in Juve. He can cover the left midfield and dont loose the ball easily. Runs a lot and make such great crosses I wanna kiss his left foot. I think, if we can get him for a good amount of cash, Moggi should go for him.

THREAD MOVED

FOR THE LAST TIME, THE TRANSFER FORUM IS ONLY FOR JUVENTUS-RELATED TRANSFER TALK. THIS IS LIKE THE 50TH TIME TODAY :fero::fero::fero:

I might just start closing misplaced or irrelevant threads without bothering to give a reason from now. Seriously, is it that hard to read the rules? :groan:

Can't find a starting spot for him, got Nedved on the left midfield, or Zambrotta with Chellini at the back.
Don't think Rothen is a bench sitting player.

It is not a day, it is him personally.....whenever you point out a mistake he's done or an argument where he cannot reply, he takes it personally and uses the personal insults.

He's a good player, pretty talented with bags of speed and a decent cross.I'm sceptical he could deal with the rough and tumble of Serie A,but if he does I won't mind having him at Juve.
