As for Fresi, I think he was injured at the start of the season and have been playing with the Primavera ever since .. I think he even scored in the (Primavera) derby win ..
Wow, a 30 year old scoring on a bunch of 18 year old kids.

Good for him. Now go, already.

Oh, how ironic, coming from a 30+ year old man in a forum where the average age is <20 :D

How's the scoring going Sergej (Sergej is cool dont you think? It makes you look Russian :D )

You have to agree,though.

What is the point of keeping him if he's not even a regular on the Primavera squad.

How much did Juve pay for him, anyway??

Free transfer, so we didnt lose much money. Actually, he was onece tipped to be a great player, while he was at Inter, and he can play sweeper, central back and defensive midfielder. He even scored 8 goas in the season before he came to Juve. Once again, we managed to **** up a player.

Even so, he probably didn't feature too heavily in our plans. It's like Salas...

though I do still wish Salas replaced Zalayeta as our fifth striker. (for real)

Assuming he were healthy, what would his role be, and whose roster spot would he take? Lippi doesn't use the sweeper in any of his formations, we've got enough DM's in Tacchinardi, Appiah, Conte, and Davids, so the only logical place would be CB, but they have Legro, Montero, Ciro, and Tudor.

I don't think there would be a place for him.

Well he wouldnt be a starter surely, but he would be a useful backup. IIRC he played last seasons Chievo game (the last game fo the season) at DM. He would be useful cover for Montero IMO, especially if we take that Legro wasnt here last year when Fresi was bought.
