Rest In Peace, Rosa Parks.. You leave this world knowing that you've made it a better place than it used to be..

I've never understood Parks fame. Certainly, she stood up for herself. Certainly, she was right. She wasn't the first to do something like that though - Irene Morgan (1946) and Jackie Robinson (1944) come to mind. Robinson was court martialled for his actions, though found innocent, while Morgan fought the law, and she won. Parks was an important member of one of the civil rights movements though, so her case seems to get highlighted a lot more.

Anyway, may she RIP.
