really wat was ronaldo expecting? love and kisses from capello for him? He is one of the most undisciplined players of all time and capello is the complete opposite. He asked him to reduce his weight and he still didn't.

Please,it seems like a cheap shot imo.

anyway its good to see him back in Italy and i hope that he does well so at least he would get Moratti steaming
Cassano will beg to differ.

As much as I think Ronaldo is done, I am writing him off just yet. I just can't see him having enough mobility to be genuine threat without the aids of his team-mates. Having said that, I heard Milan's medical staff is touted to be one of the best, and they probably have a dietary plan in place. Whether he has a will to buy doctor's advice is another matter though. But I liked his dedication to playing competitive matches instead of collecting fat pay-check in the US or Arabs. That alone put him in my books higher than Beckham or Figo. At least, he hasnt sold his sportmanship just yet, and I wish best of luck to Ronaldo. All his weights, he is still better than Pippo and Oliveira.

cassano is a different case

I dont know how his dedication will be towards his new outfit, but hes always brought good displays to his new teams. And i dont think that will change.

also i agree with you abt the sportsmanship part, he proved hes a better player overall than beckham and figo by choosing and insisting on Milan.Where he could've been treated like a king in Gulf.

Oh, I just wanted to point out Cassano into the camp slimed down as Capello asked him to, and yet found himself out of favour by the end of month. I understand its not that Capello doesnt value Tonio's talent.

But the issue I have with Capello is that, he just can't see a squad member beyond say first 15 or so. In a modern day with possibly upto 60 matches to play, you just can't do that. Its not good for (1) harmony within the team and (2) physical condition of players towards at the end of year. As a matter of fact, our team drastically faltered towards at the end of season in Capello's reign. Capello's running the team as Grande Milan's image without noticing the fact that we operate in a different era.

I guess good old cap is still living in the old days, they wont win anything this season but it will be interesting to see his progress overall with the "cursed" club.

I am not Capello's biggest fan as many people would attest to but our criticism of the guy is the past does not justify what he is doing or not doing at Milan. He played Raul throughout even when he was awful something he did not do with Dp. He did not really play the ronaldo, rvn combo often like i thought he was going to. 2 big men and all that. He started off with diarra and emrson but ditched that idea after a while. No his style is still aneamic but give him some praise, he is playing robinho, reyes, torres, ramos, higuain, gago , at the same time with de la red coming on as well, players not above 22, thats something we kept on criticising him for at Juve. When he was at Juve, his purchases , were they all his choices or was someone else making them?
And believe me , it is not easy being at Madrid as manager, with the likes of Ronaldo in one clique and Raul in the other not speaking to eachother. I rememeber at the wc when France played Spain, the looks that Raul was giving Zidane when they were coming onto the pitch, and i was thinking but these guys are team mates, not a smile at all from Raul. Not to mention the indiscipline of Cassano and Diarra were showing towards the manager.
Speaking of Cassano, in Spain, he looked like the most overrated player ever, slow, his skills were basic nothing special which the average spanish player does not have
As for Ronaldo, I am sorry, you cannot have a player who does not work hard at all and just wants to score goals, and not push his weight(no pun intended) around. He is overweight and i would hate to think he is living on past glories.
Nope Capello is not the best man to try and get along with, but as a manager , i think he is doing a great job. i do not think he is a good coach at all, as tactically he is just a mess, but when it comes to managing, like ferguson, he can manage players

i think Ronaldo opened his mouth too early as Milan and Real havent agreed a price, and if the deal falls through now he will definately not play for the rest of the season with Real

I second that. Ronaldo still has some football in his feets, he still can give a lot of himself.

Milan agree Ronaldo fee
Tuesday 30 January, 2007
Ronaldo will sign for Milan this evening after the Italian club reportedly agreed to pay £5.3m to Real Madrid.

The two clubs finally reached an agreement this afternoon and the Brazilian will put pen to paper before flying out to Milan at 18.00 hours local time.

The former Inter player, who left Italy for Real in 2002, has already passed his medical and is expected to commit himself to the Rossoneri for the next 18 months.

“I know that Ronaldo is now a Milan player,” Real Madrid boss Fabio Capello is quoted as saying this afternoon. “I wish him luck.”

However, talks for Ronaldo took a twist earlier today as Real Madrid also asked Milan for the loan of Ricardo Oliveira.

It is understood that the Italian side have agreed to the proposal even if they would have to find a replacement for the flop before the window closes tomorrow.

Palermo’s Andrea Caracciolo seems in pole position after his agent admitted that he is set to meet with Milan’s sporting director Ariedo Braida.

“I am always very cautious until things are finalised,” said agent Andrea D’Amico to Radio Radio.

“I have been speaking with Milan for a while, because I believe Caracciolo has the characteristics needed to play for an important club.

“There is a chance that he might move to Milan, but nothing is certain. I am waiting for Braida to return to Italy and we will meet.

“Caracciolo is a player who has great potential. He might not have many opportunities to play at Milan, but you must believe in his qualities,” concluded D’Amico.

The striker himself has admitted that he would like to join the San Siro club, although he is not aware of what seems to be going on.

“I would be happy to play for the Rossoneri, but I don’t know anything about this issue,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Palermo have signed Polish striker Radoslaw Matusiak who is expected to pen a three-and-a-half year contract.

The transfer was confirmed by the player’s current outfit Belchatow, who posted a note on their website stating that the 25-year-old, who has scored nine goals this season, will join the Rosanero for £1.4m.

ugly. old. and fat. welcome back to serie a! the gapped tooth phenomenon! :D
poor guy will never be happy no matter where he goes, and crapello proves to us all once again that not all life is precious... 5.3MIL aint bad especially since the last stop for geriatric players (madrid) is liquidating for a what seems to be a long yet strategic overhaul.
