Ronaldinho drops Real hint

Brazil World Cup star Ronaldinho has hinted he could choose Real Madrid ahead of Manchester United this summer.

The 23-year-old looks certain to leave French club Paris St Germain after the forthcoming Confederations Cup, with Real and United leading the chase.

Ronaldinho claims he would love to join either side, but suggested that the Bernabeu might be his preferred destination.

He told Spanish newspaper Marca: 'All I can say is that right now I am working hard to play for one of Europe's big clubs, and Spain would be very attractive for me.

'There are a lot of teams I like watching, but above all I like the teams where my friends play. I admire Ronaldo and Zidane and I enjoy watching them.'

Real already have Ronaldinho's countrymen Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos and Flavio Conceicao in their star-studded squad.

While right-wing specialist Beckham had become an increasingly peripheral figure at Old Trafford towards the end of the season, Ronaldinho's versatility in attack makes him an obvious transfer target for Red Devils' boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The former Gremio star explained: 'I have been able to adapt positions. I have no problems playing in one position or another.

'I have already played on the right, on the left, as a striker or in a deeper role, so there's no problem. The most important thing is to play and enjoy it.'

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If this goes ahead, they'll have Beckham, Ronaldinho, Zizou, Figo, Raul, Ronaldo

I guess then I'll have to watch their games more. It would be such a waste if I don't! And we can practise our mathematics by calculating how much all the players playing on the pitch worth :fool:

man Real Madrid wants every and every star
with all the stars that they have now they'll think that they can just go through teams without trouble
still in Spain they can't go through Barcelona and Valencia easy
in Europe they can't go through Juve and Milan easy, last season they barely got through Borussia Dortmund so let them have all the stars but when some of them start to sit on the bench they'll request a move to some other team

We should have really gotten in the race for Ronaldinho. He is exactly what we need. Could replace Nedved or play on the left side.

I just dont understand Real. If they get him they will have to play something like a 2-7-1 formation

Real Madrid are a joke. Their policy has gone far enough. First Figo. Then Zidane. Then Ronaldo. Now Beckham?

Ronaldinho doesnt conform to their strategy. Theyre robbing Beckham and buying attacking midfielders by the truckful. For once I hoped they would do something that would benefit them more on the pitch then in the books. Swine....

Maybe Real Madrid is thinking like, I don't need to put all the good players on the field...I'm just robbing players friom other teams so they don't have any soccer stars and they'll lose all matches and no one will buy thier merchandise and all these teams will go broke......:fool::fool::fool:

That way Real could eliminate all other teams in the whole bloody world and becomes the Champion:geek:

I don't think this will happen after Beckham purchase....
    Ronaldinho --------> Barcelona/Man Utd.
Yeah, I agree with you. After all, Barcelona couldn't get Beckham and Man.Utd. just sold him and has money to spend.

now they are buying all attacking players but watch when they face a team and is solid in defence and not bad in offence and when they have trouble scoring but their old defence is letting in goals
    just watch
next season they are not going to win a major trophy

They don't buy unproven players with potential they go for the stars. so i won't be surprized if they sign Samuel or Chivu which is very likely.By then they will have a hell of a complete team and that's what i am afraid of...........:scared:

I'm expecting Ronaldinho to join Man U. He'll only go to Barca if Riquelme leaves.

what does exactly that management of Real Madrid want???
    :nasty:

they're going to grab all the superstars around the world...!!!:greedy:

They have to slow down a little bit...

    whos gonna be next??? huh???

Instead of wasting their money in buying all these attackers and midfielders, why don't they just look at their goalkeeper :fool:, and try to find a better one????

he's really unprofessional...they need a better and more experienced keeper...

I don't Think so Requelme is Midfielder while Ronaldinho is a forward.
Ronaldinho played behind Ronaldo and Rivaldo for Brazil at the World Cup, and he can also play on the right or the left, and since Saviola and Kluivert will obviously command starting places upfront, Ron will play in midfield (if he goes to Barca, that is).

anyway Requelme is a sub player at Barca so it won't matter where Ronaldinho will play.

And i guess Kulivert is on his way out too.

I think that this is wonderful. If Madrid get Ronaldinho, maybe they will let us take Guti off of their hands....

What do we want Guti for? I think that it would be better for Ronaldinho to go to Barca, hence Riquelme to Juve.
