Andrea Romeo, from Verona refereeing section, will be in charge of Juventus v Parma, when the Bianconeri begin their title defence on Saturday night.
Tomorrow's match will be Romeo's seventh time with the Bianconeri. All six previous games have taken place in Turin: four in Serie A, one in Serie B and one in the Coppa Italia, with three wins, one draw and two defeats for Juventus. Romeo's most recent meeting with Juve came in last season's 2-2 draw against Genoa. He was also in charge of proceedings when Parma left the Stadio Olimpico with a 3-2 victory in 2010.
This season sees the introduction of goal-line assistants in Serie A. For tomorrow's game, Romeo will have Alessandro Petrella and Francesco De Luca as his assistants, Andrea Marzaloni as fourth man and Carmine Russo and Maurizio Ciampi as additional assistants.
