To be honest betancur seems to have whats needed to play that b2b role instead of khedira in the future. Maybe for next season.
He seems to be able to distribute the ball well, as he plays almost regista in uruguay, but also has the pace and youth needed to hustle and tackle midfielders. His height is a plus as allegri needs a tall player in that position. The only thing to be seen is if he has some constant numbers in offensive or if he has a great shot to add to his game

He is on the thin side but he will get stronger with the years.
Dont be surprised if he overlaps in the B2B role for next season, behind the new top player.
