It was a stupid call so honestly he deserves the ban not matter if it was a bad call from the ref or not.

IMO last few games our MF was underperforming even for their own standards and I put a lot of that in the schedule, playing every 3 days it was quite hard with all the pressure Merda is putting on us in the league. After the break our guys would still underperforming but good enough to control serie a teams even without Benta

Talk about being young and learning things the hard way.

Anyway, I'm tired of our midfield getting stupid yellow cards all the time. Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio & Pogba never collected yellow cards like our current crop of CMs do. It was eventually going to get us into trouble.

Well done Bentancur.

Another young player that needs to grow ..... with Juve hopefully. Juve needs some youth stability instead of thinking that one/two missing links can be bought to get that CL trophy. I want more than ONE CL trophy.

I love the progress that he has shown this first half of the season. Yes, midfield gets a lot of shit but Bentancur is one of the few bright spots. He's a very complete midfielder, tall, strong, good with the ball and a great passer.

Looking forward to seeing him develop even more.

I will swap Emre Can + Bentancur with SMS. Or sell both of them and get the fund to bring SMS here
emre can won't get anywhere near his current salary from lazio. he'll be sold, but not to lazio. very few clubs can afford his salary. also, selling bentancur with his current boca clause isn't the greatest idea, not to mention that he's the only mid who made some progress under sarri.

Well this is his preferred position. Especially against a weak side where he can just anticipate their every pass when the rest of the team is pressing. There's still the other element of this position where the opponent is stronger than you and you are the one being pressed, and you have to play every single ball one touch.

I am not sure having Pjanic over Benta in front of the defense is a good idea. Pjanic has a better passing range but this guy just offers much more defensively and still keeps the midfield ticking. Best of all when Pjanic is not on the pitch, we dont need Matuidi covering ground and taking four touches on each ball just to play it to the nearest man. Disrupts the flow of our game.
