Ok so it's a perfect world. You've got what it takes: the talent, the looks, the charisma, the charm, the bod, the style. And now you have to make a choice between using all of it, on stage or on camera. What would you rather be, a rockstar or a moviestar and why?

I'll go first. Now although this one's right down the middle. I think I'd have to choose the movies. Simply because the camera in my opinion allows you to transform completely - to be something new everyday. Yes, rockstar is a way way cooler word, but it's also a little too wild a lifestyle for someone like me who prefers to balance the bohemian with the bling. And I'd even go as far to say, the movies give you a larger than life image even when the cameras go off.

Say what?

How bout stage actor? I find it more appealing than film in a way. Its much more real, more enveloping, more engrossing.

To me, performing music on a stage is worthless and detrimental to the state of music. The performers should be behind closed doors or be doing nothing spectacular.

I suppose I'm in the rock star group too. Looking like Jeff Goldblum didnt help my chances...

Rockstar by a mile. I really do not think there would be anything more amazing than singing in front of 20,000+ people all having the time of their life, sometimes sober or sometimes not, singing along with you or going absolutely nuts with the fans around them. There has to be something exilarating and surreal about performing live in front of an audience and having the voices of the entire crowd in unison with your own...it would be fvcking awesome to spend the day as Chris Martin or Brandon Boyd just to see what the experiance is like. I can tell you its far more interesting than being a dull actor who gets take after take and then watches his movie weeks later..

Dude, metallica sells out shows of like 100.000 people routinely.

I remember in Moskow in 90 or 91 when they sold out an arena to nearly 200.000 peeps.

I'd have to go for the movies here, because I do act (mainly in theatre) and of course every actor's dream is to make it big someday. Small-time acting is hardly a well-paying profession and I'd very much want to do someting I love for a living.

As Confucius once said, find a job you like and you'll never have to work a day in your life.

Joking aside,I would choose to be a singer, simply because Music is the greatest art for me.you do what you feel, you tell people what you think, but in movies, you are just acting someone's charachter, but I love directors' or scenarists' (misspelled?) Job also..
