Funny you should mention Olivera. He's basically the same kind of player, and he didn't do anything for Juve. What makes anyone think that Diego or Robinho would be different?
Cuz of rating. Oliveira wasnt rated too much....he really didnt do nothing.
Santos won everything that can be won in south-America(i dont know bout Copa-Libertadores) on the wings of those two. Diego is simpley too brilliant compareing to Ruben(i dunno bout Robinho,im not his fan). As we concluded, brilliant & classy players can do it anywhere. And by reports in Brazil....they rated Diego higher than Kaka.....and look what Kaka did this season.

I love Robinho. I think he's similar to Man U's Ronaldo.

one is a striker, one is a winger

Ronaldo can play either the right or left flank. Robinho can play as a left sided attacker.
I believe that the comparison was made in regards to the players' technical ability...

Yep, that's what I meant. THanks for clearing it up, Ian.

They both are flashy guys who love to do the stepovers from outwide.

I've probably read somewhere that Maradona wants to come out of retirement and play for Sydney Olympic. It means nothing.
