I have no doubt that RVP is a better player but I don't think that Higuain would offer substantially less than what RVP would offer and Higuain still has a fair bit of potential to fulfill imo.

There is an infection of EPL fanboys in Australia. It is because of the media. It's fucking ridiculous, not because of the fact that they like the league more than Serie A but because of their pure bias and non-knowledge towards other leagues. They think they know football and everything about it from watching EPL for 1 year. Nigga pls they wouldn't even be able to name who the 2006 World Cup.
I love how all of a sudden there are so many Man City "fans" in Australia now .

Fucking pathetic bandwagoning EPL scum. I remember the same thing with Chelsea when Roman bought them back in 03. All of a sudden all these faggots popping up everywhere claiming to be Chelsea fans. Vomit worthy.

I dont hate the EPL as much as I hate the cocksucking, know nothing fanboys. I seriously hope we draw an EPL team and RAPE them.

Higuain would hamper the progress of Immobile though; cuz you know, Immobile is on his way to becoming a WC striker :howler:

Honestly, I like the idea of Higuain more because he is younger and will be part of a team that could dominate for years to come where as with RVP we would probably get maybe 2-3 seasons max of him being a top level striker before we need to replace him. Our team is a fairly young one besides 3 more experienced players (Gigi, Pirlo and Barza) so I think Higuain would be a better investment. Lower wages too.
Agreed although another pro for Van Persie is how complete a striker he is. He's as creative as he is clinical and like Del Piero, I don't think age will slow him down too much in terms of goals and effectiveness. After all, think about how good DP was for us in his early 30's.

I had this in mind but I was talking more about a goalscoring presence because we don't really have anyone else that could guarantee a lot of goals, i.e. 15+

Beating Chelsea or Man City would be sooooooo sweet. Actually Man Utd, Arsenal all of them, all their fans here are retarded.

Apparently Arsenal have a better team then Juve according to my epl mates. Most of my mates are italian and greek that i talk to football about, imagine what english backround Aussies would say I wouldn't even wanna know ahah. Apparently Vermealen is 1 of the best centre backs in the world if not the best, Sagna's hands down the best right back in the world NO competition, Oxe Chamberlain will be as good as Rooney( makes El Sharaawy look like shit according to the arsenal vs milan champions league legs on which they judged el sharaawy as "overated") Song is the best dm in the world, Wenger hands down the best manager of all time, Henry the best forward ever( he was a freak but not the best), apparently i "overate" Juve when we lost once all year in the coppa italia and I don't even talk us up that much I just tell it like it is. Don't even dare say RVP will come to Juve they would get insulted and say things like " why would he go to that shitt* serie a league" its just a joke...

 fuck that sucks. I wouldn't be able to handle that :p Only a few of my good mates follow 'soccer' and they follow Serie A anyway as they're all Italian. Most of the rest follow AFL. One Juventino and two rossoneri. But yeah, at school there were dudes that thought Liverpool is the best team around  The people that said that are your typical AFL ass smacking jocks

He confirmed it's not all about money for Van Persie, he wants to win.
Juventus it is then. :D
Or City.
Many players went to City lately and said how it's not about the money but because of the chance to win big things. They can't say that they're going to City only because of the money, even if they're doing exactly that. Also, the chances to win with City are indeed big. They have great chances to win the domestic league, just like Juve, but they stand much bigger chance in Europe.

Marco Borriello has a 2011-2012 Serie A winners medal while Zlatan doesn't. What is your point? It's not an individual sport :p
