Hes too big an investment to not be available through the season because of how injury prone he is. Its very exciting to think of his talent. But a 29 year old, injury prone player who will shatter our salary cap is not the answer to our problems imo. it will be a very poor investment. I feel he will miss half the games in the season.

When youre talking about an icing, youre focused. But if youre saying an icing, or TWO, there's a big difference. Because youre suggesting a 30m player or two, which in effect is like doubling your budget. I think Marrotta is being his whimsical self again with a list of plan b's and c's. Hopefully Conte is going to whip him into getting him what he wants.

Yes but they are not the icing on the cake. Two are but the rest will be added if we find attractive deals a la Marotta. Otherwise we are not spending on those departments. I can see us spending 75% of our budget on one player, a top notch forward.
