I interpret this as a 9 M€ cost for Pereyra,. My understanding of paying for the loan is an obligation even if it says option.
Yes 9m total cost since Sorensen is part of the operation. don't know how sorensen will be done though, I guess they could just pay us 3.5m, or maybe it will be a 'discount' on the transfer, meaning we pay nothing now and they also take 2m off the 'option' part for next year which really turns it into an obligation. or I guess we pay nothing now for pereyra and they pay us 2m for sorensen. or even we pay 1.5m now and reduce 3.5m for the rest of 11m for pereyra, paying 7.5m next year or in instalments.
or maybe that's wrong and we are basically paying 16m for pereyra. though FI says 'Juventus will also sell Sorensen to Udinese for 3.5m' which I think points to the opposite thankfully as we are gaining 3.5m from him rather than him just being included in the deal.
I think they're getting Sorensen as part of the deal which is part of payment from our side. If I'm right you have to add his valuation (3.5m) to Pereyra's price.
I think they are paying cash or at least 'discount' on pereyra, rather than for 'free' and adding his valuation to the pereyra transfer increasing it to 16m. read above^, as we are gaining 3.5m from sorensen's move to udinese.
