Sky - Some news reaching us from Serie A, as Udinese have confirmed they are in talks with Juventus with a view to selling Argentinian winger Roberto Pereyra to the Turin giants this summer. "Pereyra is a target of Juventus," Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta said to Sky Italia. "There is a legitimate interest from them and we have an open dialogue wth Juve."

Is Perreyra a Giaccherini type player? Haven't seen much of him, is he pacey or better at holding the ball and playing off others?

I dont like this signing, just an another ok winger, not offensively individualistic enough to make a difference high up as an attacking winger, nor that hardworking or creative enough to do much in 3 man midfield (IMO he will just play on the wing for us, and just be an ok backup).

Well either way we need back ups. If we bring Sanchez in we need a reliable back up player otherwise our 4-3-3 won't go very far at all.

We need better then backups in wing position, we need players good enough to start because we dont have any real wingers. Its enough buying just ok players from them IMO after Isla. He has more in common with latter then Camoranesi, for those of you are overselling him like that.

Hm, our staff must have seen something in him you didn't while stll expressing your opinion. You do know that our staff actually watch matches of the players we are trying to sign, no?

Well yeah if we bring in Pereyra and use him as a starter then we messed up

But if he's coming in as a back up to somebody like Sanchez + a back up in midfield if need be then this is ok with me

He's also only 23 and there's plenty of room for improvement and i'm sure he'll benefit from playing with Juve players Week in Week out
