Udinese DS on Pereyra-Zaza swap: "The operation is difficult, but it's on going. For Pereyra, we are only talking to Juventus."

Why are we playing hardball over mediocre co-owned players like Zaza and Rossi when we let the leagues best striker in 2013/14 go to Dortmund lol

It's not like these guys have a future at Juve outside of cup games.

If that's a real quote then I have to believe this deal will get done.

I don't get it why we need him more (a bench cm it is) than a top class player like Sanchez who would be an undisputed starter here.

Also the rumored price - 15m is ridiculous. He's simply not that good.

It's simple. We failed in Europe because we lacked depd.

I wouldn't say he should be a top priority but he would definitely be useful. A CM that has work rate and can burst into the other team's box is always interesting to me. And then the fact that he can play on the wing is a bonus.

He's like Giaccherini but much better and Giaccherini was useful at times last year.

He would be useful but for 15M i'd rather we just took back a co-owned midfielder like Rossi, who for some reason we're not willing to part with

But knowing us, we'll refuse to give them Rossi/Zaza, refuse to bring them back and in 3 years time they'll be gone forever. It is the Juve way when it comes to these mediocre players

Refuse to offload them when we have the chance, then fail to offload them when we realised they're offering us nothing.

I liked watching him play for Udinese. But 15M sounds very high, I think that number was just incompetently thrown out there.

I don't think we'll drop that money for him.

yeah, there were rumours about his price being 7-8M before and now suddenly its 15M. i think we will do it with 6-7M + Zaza (half, or full) or Rossi. Lulic will also not cost 18M, he will be lower than that too (if we get him)
