:howler:

btw, how's bati doing?

He's doing pretty well, from what I've read.

I'm following his actions because there's talk that he may come back to Italy to play for Fiorentina again:touched:

That's cool. It'd be great. Maybe Rui Costa will retire there too. :) The sooner the better, you say!

I hear that Rui Costa wants to go back to Portugal, but you never know.

When "La Viola" comes calling, you have to answer the phone!!

that would be nice. i've read in calcio italia that fiorentina are trying to get rui costa. that would be reasonable. milan have kaka, rui would probably take la viola thruogh to serie a. and if bati came...

This new ownership for Fiorentina has money, unlike the "film producer" who owned the team previously.

Granted, they probably couln't pay the same amount of money, but at this point of his career, is money everything?

exactly, so dont bother hoping Bati's gonna come back

rather, hope that they get their hands on some good young players like when they got Toldo.

and i'm glad you couldnt find a reply to the FIFA-France Football part.:D
yeah, i read the headlines...there's no denying that Fifa Rate Henry better. same as you can't deny that the FFHS Club ranking rank Celtic better than Juve! ;)

it doesn't make it a fact, but i do respect your opinion and i tried my best in the other thread to show you mine. we just rate players differently i guess :)

get off celtic's case already. roverbhoy explained. they are unbeaten at home for more than 2 years, beaten finalists of the uefa cup. i dont get why juventus are rated lower but why is depor above juve?

easy boy..... since when did i get on the case?!! this is my first post about it..... i dont read every thread you!!

i dont want to start a celtic thing here in the Rivaldo thread. i was just giving an example. but anyhow, i dont see anything special about going unbeaten at home for two years in the *****SPL!!!!!!****** :howler: winning ZERO. and i repeat, ZERO main trophies.

...top of their CL group at the moment, unbeaten at home for over two and a half years in all competitions including victories over Valencia, Celta Vigo, Porto, Rosenborg, Stuttgart, Juve, Blackburn(won away as well), Lyon, Anderlecht, and draws with Bayern, Liverpool (won away as well) and Boavista(won away as well), final of uefa cup last year (Only beaten in extra time when down to ten men), five points ahead at the top of the SPL (leauge ranked ninth in Europe by eufa)

....maybe a little flattering to be sixth, but their record in home and domestic comps isn't something to laugh at surley?
there you go majed

Rover...I agree that it was outright classless but you can't take away a player's accomplishments or talent based on bad judgement. otherwise players like Zambrotta and Nedved are just as guilty.

Couldn't agree more...just stating the perception many have of this wonderful player, and perhaps also trying to get to the bottom of how one such as he could now be without a club.

Rivaldo made the poor decision to "simulate" on the biggest stage of all, the World Cup Finals. It was seen all round the world, live, by many millions, if not billions.

I think he is a great talent, hence the epilogue that "I would happily see him at my club"- if his wages could be met...which they couldn't... hehe.

I have no problem with divers...I never thought twice about Amorosos dive in the Juve-Celtic game...these things come around and go around...it's simply footie mate:cool:

yeah yeah, fifa. they care about football. but why is that you were right about france football. is it decided yet?
well do you think that France football will rate Giggs better than Henry.

wait a minute........Giggs isnt even one of the 50 i repeat 50, 50,50 players nominated for the France football award.

PS I cant believe that some one who couldnt find a place between 50 players can be compared to someone that now might be the best player in the world.
