    Yeah, like I said, I'm SERIOUSLY considering it! No watch is worth 7.5 hours a day, including Saturday! Me and my mate will just have to apply for other jobs. We applied together and it would be so much easier if we worked together, we'd just mess around all day, but they split us up. I work with3 middle aged wome. FFS! :D

    Bah, I think I'm quitting. My mate has said he'll only work for a few more days and then go on holiday. I'll talk to him tonight, have a talk with my parents (so they don't nag later on), and if things go as planned, I'll be quitting either tommorrow or Saturday. Fuck it, I already have a watch :D

    Like I said, the job itself isnt very complicated. All I have to do (for now) is put stuff on the shelves, help customers, weigh fruit, stuff like that, carry stuff sometimes, etc, but the biggest problem is the hours and the money. My family is what you could consider upper middle class so I don't really need the job badly, I just wanted to be able to buy myself some things, a new watch and a cd player for my car, but now that I see how hard it is to earn them I dont find theam as appealing anymore.

    But I'll probably look for a better job with better conditions.


    I'm working through a students service, so the wages are a bit below the minimum, withouth any benefits. You know how much I get?

    150€ per mont, for almost 200 hours. Not even 1€ per hour. Now, it might be just me, but I don't thing it's worth it.

    Of course, if the conditions were better it would all be different. If the pay was, say, 200-250€, or if I really needed the money badly there would be no question about it, I'd work.

    Luckily, I'm in a position that I can choose whether I want to work or not.

    Zlatan, your in a similar position as me (sort of) my parents want me to get a summer job, I would too, I need them money as well. And their is a job in shoprite that is a fantastic job, its £400 a week, ands it 6 days a week, but we'd start at 8pm, and work until we finish so if your fast you could probably finish at like 12 probably, my only reservation is how boring it would be and that I couldnt go out on Saturday nights or anything like that.

    I'd love that kinda of money, but I think it would drive me nuts very quickly.

    same here..I had a semi Illeagal job thou when i was 14,I used to sell condoms to my shy friends :D

    Yeah, I know. I'm currently "negotiating" with my parents. I'm supposed to get a new cell phone, and only thing I'm concerned about is that they don't say "you dont deserve it, you don't want to work for it, you dont appriciate money" etc. If I can agree with them that the deal stays the same, I get my cell phone and allowance then I'll quit, maybe even tommorrow. Just not worth it. I'll be on the lookout for other jobs tho.

    Still, even for 7-8 hours a day thats good money.
