Hopefully he'll turn out to be the great striker Ghana have been starving for, for so long. Forza Boakye.

This kid must go to Eredivisie ASAP. He'll score a ton, become more confident and then we'll see if he's Juve material. If not, we'll make good money on him.
    Trade him for Aron Johansson.

    By Football Italia staff

Richmond Boakye has revealed his determination to stay at Juventus at fight for a starting place next season.

The Ghanaian forward has been on loan at Spanish next Elche this term, where he netted five goals to keep Fran Escriba’s side in La Liga.

But the 21-year-old has claimed that now he’s back in Turin, he’d like to fight for a place in Antonio Conte’s XI.

“I want to stay and fight for my place,” he told africanfootball.com. “I won’t refuse to go out on loan again if it means I’ll get some continuity.

“But my goal is to stay in Turin and fight for my place at Juventus.

“Elche didn’t go quite as I’d expected, but I was able to have a new experience and I scored some important goals in key games.”

That's the attitude I want from our backup striker. Realising that he's not first choice just yet but stating his intent to prove that he will be one day. Would not complain about his game time if he only got sub opportunities and starts in the Coppa and lesser Serie A games. Keep

apparently another year loan at Elche.
Boakye-Yiadom, who is owned by the Old Lady, was hoping to fight for a place at Turin next season, but the Serie A champions have decided to farm him out again to become well equipped.

Goal Ghana understands both parties have agreed in principle to allow the Ghanaian to stay in the Spanish top-flight. An official announcement is expected to be made on Wednesday.
