no sign of Biggie Boakye yet at the ACON, only on the bench. But Ghana's group has been tight. Still...in pole position to go through, perhaps in their final group game against Niger Richmond will get a start or maybe just a sub appearance. Its brilliant experience for him simply being present at such an event, at a level very different to what he has ploughed through effectively at club level so far. It can only be a good thing for his development. And i'm sure Asamoah is helping him fit into the squad. He has a responsibility to do so, as part of the senior Juve squad, as well as as his countryman.

Indeed...fell awkwardly on the ankle in pre tournament training. He hasn't managed to shake the injury off, so had an mri scan a couple of days back. Club doctor suggested he should be back up and running in 4-5 days...so SOON. they will make it through and he can be their secret weapon in the knockout phase!

Poor lad. Didn't even get a run-out in the third place play-off. Still... the experience will have done him some good, and Gyan will be put out to pasture at some point. To even be involved is a great sign of his progress.

Scored a penalty today!

Bukkake!!!!!!
weird...in a terrible way.

Its good to see him back in their starting line-up and also grabbing such an important goal. Lets hope Asamoah also starts to recover his form, since he was also a little off the boil since returning from S. Africa.

Watched him yesterday against Ternana (I guess :p), a fairly non-stellar performance from him. Although his teammates weren't exceptional either. First half was pretty routine, 2nd was better, I think the coach asked him to drop wider on the left and help in building up attacks, which he did pretty good. Seems like a lad who's not only good in the box, but can create chances for him self too.
Didn't have any clear-cut chances though, but had the chance to score the winner on a header at the dying seconds but was denied by an exceptional save from the opponent's keeper.

The only stand out player from Sassu was Berardi, who was great in the first half, created 4-5 on target chances for himself. Very good with the ball at his feet. But then the Ternana coach arranged to totally shut him down in the 2nd, cuz it was just a matter of time for him to score.

On the other side of the pitch, Masi had a very solid performance for Ternana, his head to had clash with Boakye in the 2nd was fun to watch, and I think he did good.

The guy seems to be quite good. His style should suit ours. He's good at finding himself spaces, good first touch and nice finishing. He'll get his chance to prove himself next season as Sassuolo will play in Serie A.

Genoa getting relegated is almost sweet as inter crumbling. They were a branch office for milanese teams for long time. Remember how Marotta being told fuck off when he tried to get Immobile back in January.
