Very odd situation this.

Not sure there is enough information about yet to draw firm conclusions about how (badly) this was handled, though.

Nobody knows what's going on behind the scenes. For all we know Conte can just say to him ignore the reports.

How is signing a player on a free then selling him for 5M 2 months later embarrassing?

Sounds pretty ingenious to me.

Anyways this news sounds like horseshit right from the beginning.

Let's see how many players will want to come here for free next year. They are not stupid. They see how players are treated and believe it or not... this influences their decision about which club to chose.

True or not, it doesn't change the fact that Juventus SD and coach decided to get rid of a player they have just recently bought. This never, ever looks good in the eyes of other players.

I think if we will get Two Cb's ,then we can sell Ziegler, if DC get an injury Chiellini will be there:) But if we sign one CB Ziegler STAY

If him allegedly going to Turkey is true then well he didn't seem to mind, did he.
Or he realized that the situation could quickly deteriorate, he actually wants to play regularly, and figured it was better for his career if he decided to just move on. Plenty of players whose careers have hit the rocks at our club in recent times. The environment has been pretty toxic, all things considered.

He could still be pretty damn unhappy in a few scenarios. Or, this could all be horseshit rumors fueled by newspapers who are trying to exacerbate, or embellish the perceived disfunction at the club.

It's a stupid move indeed, but I fail to see how this is gonna damage Juventus' image. If any, It's damaging ziegler's image as a respected International footballer.

This seems very, very odd.

I personally think Conte isnt a big fan of Ziegler, but surely he'd rather keep him here as backup for De Ceglie over fucking Fabio Grosso?

I know the club would have thought "Wait a minute, we can make a few mill here", but surely they gotta think of our weakness in that area?

 at people blaming the management, Reto cannot demand a starting spot he has to work for it like everyone. I personally think this is all bullshit but if true it is the lack of the players testicular fortitude in not wanting to work for a starting spot that is the problem.

Exactly, we don't know nothing, it could all be bullshit and yet people act like we've sold him already.
