I've never been overly impressed with Ziegler but it depends on the system and style we use. If he has chances to get forward, being the aggressor then he's a useful player. If he's constantly on the back foot with opponents directly running against him then I don't have much hope. But then there are few left backs who are comfortable in this scenario. In terms of positioning I've seen some glaring errors in concentration.

Reto Ziegler, the new signing of Juventus, has declared his satisfaction at having chosen the white club, despite not missing requests (see Lazio and AC Milan): "I signed a good time, because it is Juventus by two years of failure and A new page is opening. I want to make the most of my chances. " Returning from the U.S. tour Ziegler admits that the preparation was "the most challenging of my career" and then: "Juventus is a true global brand. It 'an honor to belong to this club, even if it means huge responsibility" .

IM getting the sense Conte doesnt trust him enough to start or hes worse then we thought he is. I dunno enough about him and even watching most of the pre season games he hasnt been involved enough to make a opinion about him but if PDC is ahead of him thats saying something because I dont rate PDC that high, never have.

i would be very surprised if ziegler was not better then de ceglie.

i think conte lets de ceglie play because he wants him to regain match fitness and confidence prior the seasons start

thats right... and the other problem i got with ashton is that he does not only look like a schoolboy and defends like one, no he is even fragile like one.

if i played against him i would force situations where it gets physical to knock him down or hurt him, because the chance of him either being instantly injured and having to be taken off are pretty big and if he is not injured enough at first ahston will have big brown stains in his panties

I think you've got him wrong, De Ceglie is a fighter he definatly isn't a fragile school boy that would shit his pants he gets stuck in and battles on when hurt and thats probably the reason why he gets injured so much.

didn't you notice how often he was out, due to situations in games where a normal guy would just stand up and brush it off ? that was even before his major kneecap injury. that guy is literally mr glass-bones.

here you got your warrior getting crushed by zalayeta, lol

The Old Lady breathed a sigh of relief after winning a penalty shoot-out against Napoli to progress to the semi-finals of the Coppa Italia.

But it wasn't such a good evening for youngster De Ceglie who had to go off after taking the weight of Marcello Zalayeta following a crunching tackle.

While he didn't break a rib, De Ceglie did suffer a collapsed lung as air was able to reach his pluvial cavity.

The injury isn't too serious but causes extreme discomfort.

The Juve medical staff believe De Ceglie should rest for around 45 days before he can return to action.
De Ceglie was forced off just before half-time against Lech Poznan last night, and tests today have revealed a strain.
his body is just not strong enough to withstand anything more risky than wii sports !
