Yet Swiss players are not counted as non-EU and don't ask me why. Anyway, he's not coming from abroad so he does not fill the non-EU quota.
    Nor are Norwegian players.

Right. They have a deal with European Union, even if the likes of Switzerland and Norway isn't part of EU they still do business. Switzerland part of EFTA and Norway part of EEA.

The definition of a Bosman is a free transfer when a player's contract has expired. Cassano's contract didn't expire in January, they never do. If Sampdoria let him leave for no fee that's their choice, but they and Milan, as the buying club, still ended up paying €5m between them to settle the clause with Real Madrid specifically because he was not a Bosman free transfer.
    I get what ur saying

So basically, no decent players can be got from a bosman apart from when YOU make exceptions?

    Ziegler is decent.
Ziegler is decent for a relegate battler, not an ambitious club.
Every rule has an exception, 80-90% of the Bosman transfers are finished up players.
The only good ones are pre-arranged deals, good players dont go unwanted, they are appreciated, its one thing waiting for a player to end his contract and sign him for free and one other thing to look out for unwanted trash, that the teams no longer need, for one reason or the other...

(at zieglers case, it could be attitude issues too, as the the first post notes)

    What attitude issues?

Ppl always have good feelings when we sign crap players...
I hope that he does well (though i doubt it) but whats important, is what this transfer means.
We have Grosso, DC and Chiellini as LB, we wanted a def solution, a quality starter, a consistent player, one we could rely to, not yet another liability.

Such ziegler is not such a player and was brought for depth, it would only mean that we are pleased with what we have...

Not the sort of improvement we were looking for at the LB spot. I can't see us moving for someone else, so Ziegler had better put his match boots on and improve as a player.

We better sign a solid right-back. It will probably be Cassani, but whatever.

What do you think about Cassani, good enough?

He's better than anything we've got for sure. But there are better RB's we could possibly obtain. Beck is in the same league as Cassani but younger, so that's the more attractive option for me. I also think Lichtsteiner is better than Cassani, along with Isla, certainly.

:D No, he's not Japanese, although I do get called Jack. It just seems to me you post to moan more than anything else, it's quite depressing. If it's your outlet then fair enough.
o, japanese Jack and i used to respect japanese ppl, well there are always exceptions to everything.
I dont care if you find my opinions depressive, they are just my opinions, you dont like them, ignore them, but stop provoking and mocking with every chance, like Jack does.
If you have any counter arguments, bring them in,keep it civilized keep it respectful.

Most of the Japanese ppl i met tend to be honorable and respectful.
I do not challenge you, i do not wish to quarell with you, you either bring arguments or ignore my posts, anything but one liner mockery!
There is no reason to make this personally
(unless my truth really hurts you that much and you hate me for remind you our situation, i know it can be frustrating, but some ppl need to be remind it,because they get carried away)

I'm quite aware of our situation, but it seems you go out of your way to overplay it. I think in future I'll stop the quips in regards to your posts, but don't take them personally, forum speak shouldn't be personal. It's just that it would take a very long time to reply to all the points you make, some of which I agree with.
